Marc's final dialogue between him and his other personalities reminded me of the ultimate universe Moon Knight towards the end of the Kingpin storyline, where the personalities were trying to figure out what to do as Marc was dying, it was an amazing scene, and this one is just as satisfying.

Believe the story started in ultimate spiderman issue 79, sadly ultimate mk never got his own comic, it was a big crossover with spiderman being the main focus with mk, daredevil, shang chi, iron fist, and doctor strange as supporting characters@@silviobulleri7063

It's a good death. Even a great one. But I still find it difficult to believe Marc won't come back. 60 years of reading comics and game mastering has taught me that even seeing a body or the death itself means nothing. Some other writer will come up with a story idea, and he'll be back.

I'm to jaded. If this is Marc's last time in the sun then this is a pretty great send off possibly opening the Door for some Hunter's Moon or Midnight mission comics. But everytime I hear superhero x died I immediately think they will return in a couple months/years.

this is the only correct opinion. i understand everyones mad about another “death of” but this one certainly feels tongue in cheek. if anyone mad in these comments actually read the books rather than just watching youtube videos about them, theyd know jed mckay is certainly the right person to be handling a “death of”, especially w moon knight. long live 8 ball

@@dohpe- sirloin probably because I just had one at a steakhouse recently, after eating cheap for awhile lol. But it doesn’t really matter to me, if it’s steak I’m eating it lol. My favorite cut is probably a tie between sirloin, ribeye and porterhouse. The only steak I won’t eat, is tube steak.

I wouldn't be surprised if Moon Knight mantle was taken by someone else. They might have Mark Spectre providing information to his team as a voice in their heads. That would be a fitting evolution of his character.

Losing Mark is a no though, it's a bad trend to want to replace the title lead character. The next idea is a filler who won't have Mark's nuance just some new character under the mask of Moon Knight. One thing about Moon Knight that is essential is Mark doing whatever it takes to maintain the mantle for himself, lose him and the series losses that grit. Just went through this with Dr. Strange Steven was dead, his title passed on to Wong then to Cleo both felt the weight and even the foes missed Steven as Sorcerer Supreme now he is back, eventually it's just facts we read comics for the same staple character not the idea their title is a passable baton to have it done. We don't like the new replacement.

@@justinmcdonald2072 my thing is that if heroes are mantles, dont give them depth or any personality traits. If they write Spiderman and we go deep in the live of Peter Parker, we empathyse with his struggles, the live he lives, his challenges, etc, there will come a time when for us as readers, Spiderman and Peter are one and the same. He was the first we knew, he was the first that was the same as us, so after decades of Spiderman Peter Parker is the one and only Spiderman. If they want to kill the character kill it, but make sure that the next volume doesnt have his name. For me that's one of the reasons that Miles will never be Spiderman. Miles is cool and all, but he is not Peter he will never be Peter, and so will never be Spiderman.

Dude I’m been looking for days on some evidence that shows what happens when moon knight gets attacked? Since he never deflect, dodge or block an attack what is the most powerful attack he survived? And does he has a healing factor or does the attacks just phase through him? I just don’t understand.

Another small but important detail is Marc’s expression of the Hebrew “Adonai Echad” just before he dies. Thematically the notion of god and unity hits deeper with this character, and it was a nice little touch I thought. ~_~
