Kang is hands down one of my favorite figures of the year!

Wish they would have included a Redwing figure with Falcon and a separate closed mouth head for Thunderstrike. Kang is AWESOME!

It’s funny because to me this is the classic Falcon. It’s definitely the costume he was wearing when I read Avengers in the 90s.

Thunderstrike is street-level Thor. He'd hang out with Gus for sure. Hopefully a third-party head comes out. . .

Hi Robert I am a bit of an authority on Thunder Strike a.k.a Eric Masterson. He started of by replacing the real Thor in the Avengers for a while, thus giving us the masked Thor figure. Why because the real Thor was in Hell literally, anyway somebody goes down and rescues Thor and when he returns both he and Masterson have this great big battle (because Masterson thinks Thor is an imposter). Anyway during their fight Masterson realizes that this is the real Thor and surrenders Mjyolnir to him. Impressed that Masterson could hold his own against Thor, Odin bestowed apon him a mace and giving him the name Thunder Strike. He essentially has the exact same Powers as Thor except for the fact that he's not a God. Unfortunately I do have a couple if complaints with this figure, first off we only got one extra hand, I personally would have loved 2 grip hands so he could hold his mace with both hands when swinging it in an attacking fashion like he did in the comics. Second Eric Masterson changed his look to differentiate himself from Thor and there are 2 key elements missing, first is a blue lightning bolt ear ring in his left ear and the second is a pair of removable sunglasses. My next problem is probably the biggest, as you even said it looks like a hammer and it's supposed to be a mace. It looks like the sculpted did one side and quit, yes it should be triangular, but from the head it should look like a triangle with the points cut off. Next the T is printed upside-down, the way they molded the chain with the way they molded the head either the chain defies gravity or he has to hold his mace with the weight defying gravity. At any rate it's wrong. Just some info from a fan of the character.

I think this is one of the more solid waves this year. Kang, Falcon, Thunderstrike and Jocasta are all homeruns in my opinion. I hope we see a Tigra, Leisure red jacket Wonder Man, Starfox and Monica Rambeau Captain Marvel in a future Avengers wave.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this but Thunderstrike is supposed to be left handed but never came with a left gripping hand I suggest the Hercules gripping hands

Literally the day after I watched this I walked into Walmart and, what do you know, they had 1 Kang and 1 Jocasta. I've never been a big fan of Kang, but you made me appreciate how much work they put into this figure that I just had to get it. I've always had a soft spot for Jocasta because of her unique design, so she was an easy pick up.

Kang is very good. One of 2020’s best Legends. Falcon is all about dynamic posing. I love that Vulture. He is hand candy. Honestly Kang, Falcon and Thunderstrike are the only ones I have opened. I like the others five I guess but they haven’t struck my fancy yet.

This wave is high on my list of a great wave. Being a comic book fan and getting first (for me) of Kang, Jocasta, Thunderstrike, and a new Falcon that has been under represented in the comic world, is four figures I would get even without a baf incentive. And I buy every Cap figure because that is my guy. Adding to that a Joe Fixit, and considering I'm not a stickler for comic accuracy, as much as I am for evoking the response that the figure represents it well enough, and this is a no brainer wave for me. I'm just glad to see that these figures were well done also. I am in the same camp as you, in that I just do not like screaming heads, or if we get one, there should always be an alternate resting head included. Screaming heads are fine for certain sequences, but it really limits your ability to pose them as part of a group or in a casual setting.

Yes! I've been waiting to see your review of Kang for so long! I love that figure, it's currently on my top 4 favourite Marvel Legends of the year along with the Abomination BAF, Doctor Doom (who I know came out at the end of last year but most places didn't get him till this year and that wave was listed as the first of 2020 so I'm counting him) and my number 1 being the movie Deadpool, I've waited so long for that to get made.

Kang is pretty badass, not as hyped over the giant tux body as most others. I just think it could’ve been done better.

You say this review is late, but I just bought this BAF series two days ago at Wal-Mart and haven't even opened 'em yet. But I do know to open the box from the side, not the bottom.

You can custom that for Fantastic Four Franklin richards. He now wears an iron man armor after losing his mutant powers. The color scheme is perfect.

When I was ten or eleven I remember getting these shrinkwrapped multiplacks of marvel comics from Borders Books and remember one had issues of Secret Defenders and Thor Corps. and I remember instantly becoming attached to Thunderstrike because I liked his vest.

This wave seems to be sneaking up on me because of the kitbash possibilities. I’ve seen people put the 10th anniversary Hydra trooper heads on Black Cap, Silver Sable on Jocasta and Kingpin’s head on Joe Fixit to great effect. Then Kang was always a character that annoyed me, but damn, is that one amazing action figure! So tempting... must resist...buying... whole... wave...!!!

I was brought back to past lectures of the late, greats Stephen Hawking, Richard Feynman and Carl Sagan while listening to you describe the capabilities of Kang's weapon: "It blasts holes through the...the space-time continuum, something, something..." Fascinating! 🤣🤣🤣 What else can I say, as usual, a fantastic review vid, just another reason to get all happy to see another fwoosh vid pop up in my feed... keep up the great work, brother, and stay safe!

The early run of the Hobgoblin wave Vulture had wings that pegged (inexplicably) into the shoulder, rather than the triceps, which is why the wing parts run into each other when you swivel the arm at the biceps... thankfully, they fixed it with later runs of the figure (I got lucky and found one with the wing fix) so that it works properly.

I have some figures on pre-order that will probably all arrive at the same time (or within a few days of each other) but I’m not going to open them all in one session like this. I’m going to open them on different days. I like to devote the same amount of time and attention to each one. Usually if I get 2 figures at the same time there is always one that I’m more interested in and the other one doesn’t get as much attention.

That blonde haired figure kinda looks like one of Zartan's Dreadnaughts, Buzzsaw.

Kang is on point. If we get 90's Magus you've got the cover for Infinity War #5 (which only I probably care about). But I'm not feeling that Mr. Fixit. I hope when they get around to the comic version they use a different mold. But I definitely foresee a two pack with Wolverine where they're both wearing white tuxes. Because y'know ya there's a Wolverine quota each year.

Nice to know the tie and collar on Joe Fixit is a separate piece so they can do one with a bow tie and we can get a Joe Fixit/Patch in white tux jackets two pack. A guy can dream, can't he?

Hey Robo, the reason your vulture top wings keep falling off when rotating the arms is cause you got a vulture from the first run of figures made, aparently hasbro saw this and quickly made a change in production and the second run of figures have the upper wings peg on the bicep not the shoulder just like falcon, its way better that way!

I had to get Kang pretty much when he first came out cause I couldn’t wait lol. Kang is one of my favorite characters but he’s my favorite ML that I own rn and definitely one of my favorite figures of the year. But my ranking is #1 Kang #2 joe fixit #3 falcon #4 thunderstrike #5 Cap #6 iron man #7 Jocasta Glad we got a Jocasta figure but I’m just never that excited for the female figures

You could just put both captain america's in your shelf and pretend one is Cap and the Other is USAgent, The Jacosta is a retooled Moonstone mold (mainly just adding the costume raised areas and the new torso with the hinged neck), as far as Kang goes is it just me or do those arms look like theyll be used on a classic Dr. Stange in the future (just add in new gloves, heck they could probably use the whole upper body with a new overlay)

For falcon they have the superior octopus body, I don't know why they don't use it more often, I prefer that one than the vintage Spidey

I know this is an old video but, I’ve used the stealth cap as custom fodder and it’s not bad, I’ve las the alternative hands, I took mcu crossbones’ head and it looks amazing, had to do some painting to dirty it up a bit
