The last Marvel Legends figure that was better than average was Marvel Legends X-Men Monet St. Croix, who rated favourably on Anthony’s scale. When they care, Hasbro knows how to make strong female comic book characters-and this Elektra is evidence of that fact. Lovely! Definitely wanted this. Zdarsky's Daredevil run is one of the few really good marvel comics in recent years but for the $25 price point the lack of accessories and paint is really disappointing.

Agreed his daredevil series as well as Benjamin Percy’s ghost rider and wolverine and jed McKay moonknight are the only 4 comic series that were good these past 3 years

@@joseph_goat6769 McKay has been good. She-Hulk was great until they decided they’re going to do another number reboot for some reason. I haven’t been a huge fan of Percy though. Cantwell is doing some good stuff with Hellcat so far.

I wish the finish was nicer but this is definitely a stand out ML figure. I'm only getting female ML figures that have 2 poa on the torso from now on but this is an exception. It looks nice with that rival figure can't wait for the next progress update on them.

Thanks for your review on this product Anthony. In a recent infamous interview with Shartimus Prime the Hasbro ML team tried to justify their position regarding character production. Obvious takeaway I got was Hasbro would rather pump out more characters of lesser quality so they can maintain prices, then issue fewer good products at a higher cost. Has Hasbro forsaken the paint brush in favor of keeping their prices down? That is a mentality that feeds the boardroom's profit margins then appeasing their consumers. Fans come first right?

I think the fans are irrelevant to Hasbro (not the figure designers, but the company). Money is the only reason the ML line still exists. Idk how Hasbro decides how many figures are to be made in a year, but it's cheaper to just repaint a generic body and make a new head than create an entirely new body that could only be used once (like Spider Armor MK I)

I don't even believe they need to pump these out at such a low quality to maintain prices. Maybe to maintain the profit margins that they promised investors. They're going to keep producing garbage until people stop buying it.

@@TheMattTrakker But the bulk of people will never stop buying these, Hasbro has those people convinced that Marvel Legends is the best line ever. They've already convinced Shartimus - one of the biggest ML reviews, possibly one of the most influential too - that double ball peg necks are terrible and that diaphragm + reverse ab crunch is the best combo. And if Shart shares those opinions with his audience, then all those people will starting thinking the same way. And those same people hearing "Anthonyscustoms" automatically discredit all his reviews as just "being a hater."

i'll keep on practicing my washes with this one, definitely on the straps part. Not sure how a wash on the front of the skirt piece would look but probably will try that as well

“Mikey likes it!” I have fixed feeling about the design - comics and figure. Initial response is positive, but then there are some issues, especially the head; it is pretty much a Daredevil head? But the scarf or whatever is cool but also awkward.

Great review! Great Hasbro figure! But I gotta say I am more excited about getting a set of Rival Clans figures one day to display and have standing above the Hasbro lines! Awesome channel! Cant wait to see Rival Clans be crowd funded cause I am definitely all in!

Q of the Day: I’m completely unfamiliar with this version of the character, so she wasn’t on my want list. I’m also trying to get out of the “but…it’s a cool figure!” market, so I’m not sure if I’ll pick this one up or not. Maybe if I see her on clearance. I was just thinking before you made those last couple of comments at the end that I’m so tired of buying crap figures of characters that I really want, and passing on good figures of characters that I don’t care about from this line. It’s frustrating.

Never saw that look, but I haven't collected comics in forever. I pre ordered her. She looks cool. I don't think I will use her scarf mask thingy. She will look cool with the new DD. I might have to add a little extra paint myself. But overall looks good. They really should have gave her the more articulate body like Black Widow.

I don’t normally read comics anymore, the quality of writing is just not there , but these design caught my eye before it was announced as a figure. Easily my favorite marvel legend of the year so far.

I don't think the pants should stop the baggyness there though. They're usually tighter around he calf, area so they obviously simply didn't wanna engineer new knees for baggy pants lol

It's a shame hasbro is still having trouble with their diaphragm joints. They did it perfectly with their new peter b parker figure. Hell, they even added a waist joint that works better than some of their diaphragm joints.

I made a custom full-suited Peter B Parker, and without the coat on, the torso has near import level of articulation. I don't know why Hasbro just doesn't use that considering how good it works

The sculpt does look amazing. I don't know this iteration of the character but this looks great. Hasbro have been making action figures for years, yet still muff the articulation. Jada are new to action figure creation, but blow Hasbro out of the water with their Street Fighter range. Better articulation, and usually more accessories.

Don't know this costume, but I don't mind a figure that can be used as a generic female ninja. Since it comes with a scarf that can be removed to make a variant, gonna army build her when she drops in price. Lack of accessories is disappointing, but I have a bunch of swords/weapons that I can give her- Still a no no with no additional items. Lack of a good kick hurts, but with a drop of price makes it worth a purchase.

Shading, wash with this kind of action figure is really a miss opportunity from hasblow... it will bring out more to the character... Sadly that hasbro hasbro'd this. There's always something missing in an action figure... i agree with you on shartimus, Anthony!

If keeping the paints simple keeps these figures around 20 bucks I honestly think it's fine. Most kids aren't going to care, casual collectors aren't going to care, and the people who do care will likely repaint it themselves. The sculpt and articulation are much more important to me in an ML figure than shading and washes.

I added a basic wash to her suit... infinitely better looking. I think the concept of the look is cool,but the character...not so much. I glued it.

It seems literally functionless, offering 0 additional utility AND removing all existing utility from what is otherwise a purpose-designed and highly effective weapon. Marvel legends, the worst bang for your buck. Most of them are overpriced and don't do justice to the Marvel IP. I purchase them mostly for the figures' heads. Hope they'll improve with time and competition doing a much better job.
