I want a version of Peter Parker that matches his series look with Chameleon, Blade, Prowler, Vulture, or Robbie Robertson. I'm so glad Dan does all the head swaps. I don't unbox, so this is my only chance to see what if with the swapping.

@mariorooks12345 That Kingpin isn't the same one from the 90s cartoon, the pants and undershirt are different. The retro card Kingpin is from the comics.

@miggy2352 They probably will. Those two were meant to be comic versions of the characters, we've yet to receive a cartoon version of either character.

Honestly I prefer the vhs style box, the card backs are nostalgic but they tend to be more space consuming and take a lot of wear and tear damage when you open up the figure or even keep them for display. These boxes you can get a plastic protector for and easily put them on display. They have such an awesome vhs look

Good MJ, but Green Goblin should be pinless, they already did pinless arms for this mold, they just need to upgrade the legs pinless of the Bucky Cap.

Tbh pretty sure mostly everyone will be happy with Peter. His head will fit with the Wal-Mart Exclusive animated figure and VHS symbiote Spidey. He also is in high demand due to people not liking the retro peter parker since he had those ridiculous glasses you can't remove

I actually figured that out and tbh he looks good without them and the holes for them blend into his hair so you can't really see it. They easily could have made the glasses a removable accessory

I don't understand (aside from being cheap) why they painted his neck pink. The loose "cloth" is the collar if his shirt. His neck is green, in the show and on the box

The MJ is the best MJ to date! Goblin looks okay front-on but for posing the arm joints are gummy and droopy. It's deffo time for Vulcan & RYV Spidey to be rolled out to all male bodies.

They need to stick to their word and get rid of the Bucky mould. That being said, this is the first two pack where I actually want both figures so I’m happy to grab it. This new Goblin looks great

I think the retro cards are just mostly comic accurate representation of the characters, but with the 90s show logo. I don't think hasbro knew how much people wanted an accurate 90s show figures back in 2020 when the line was started, so they made figures that represent the retro 60s/70s comic style, and a little bit of the 90s cartoon. The VHS line will probably keep going for awhile. Although I hope we get every character. The Rhino, Kingpin, and Mysterio are definitely retro comic versions of the characters, the colors on Kingpin and Mysterio are completely different in the show. As for Rhino, he is way too detailed to he put on the animated shelf. The cartoon version is bery smooth, no detail. Hobgoblin is almost a 1:1, so we can leave him alone. We really need a animated spider-carnage, and the other spider-men that show up at the end of the show. Having a Morbius and Blade animated figure wouldn't be be a bad idea either. Great review though man, I can't wait for this to release.

The only problem on Retro Hobgoblin is the cape and maybe the head but ive seen some repaints on the eyes on Hob and prolly gonna make the cellshaded orange boots on mine

No head switching comparison? I really want to see what the new Goblin head looks like on the vintage card's body. However, I do want to say that the vintage card one was never meant to be an animated version. I did laugh that you talked about how the satchel is accurate while showing a picture of it being on the other side. I have never understood why Hasbro constantly molds the satchel to go over the wrong side on their GGs.

I guest I meant in regards to the colour at least, you can manually switch the satchel so it’s no big deal I did find images with it that way in the cartoon to, the show wasn’t always consistent with those types of details. DM me on insta and I will take a photo of the head swap for you 👌🏻

These all pale in comparison to the Toybiz Green Goblin from the Onslaught wave! The masked and unmasked versions are the defining Green Goblin and the glider is right out of the comics! The animated Green Goblin is a sad interpretation! The retro is the classic version reimagined, yes the eyes are a little off but still better than the animated version! You are wrong, some characters do not need to be remade just because of body updates or pinless tech or that dumb face print tech which takes away from the comic likeness in every way, lots of the Toybiz and older Marvel Legends still stand on their own merit so quit asking for remakes of characters that do not need it like Flash Thompson's Venom! Just once why can't you say something negative instead of saying every figure is great or this is the version of your minds eye what a bunch of BS!!!!
