I think the FF Retro wave styled after the Animated Series version which was adapted from John Byrne's run on the comic. They recieved the white trim on their suits as a result of the negative zone on the suits unstable molecules!

Thanks for the video, the translucent Sue and the flaming Johnny makes my FF list without question. The Sue's head is not as fugly as peeps think, it's just not Sue Storm. Try replacing Sue's head from the Walgreen Exclusive with this one and paint a black hairband around it to get a Crystal. It's the best this old FF fan can do until a Crystal is officially made.

That Johnny Storm head is actually from the Human Torch figure from the Super Skrull wave.

I took the hair from the main retro Invisible Woman and put it on the Super Skrull wave Invisible Woman head and it looks pretty good. Plus, now all three Sue Storm figures (Walgreen's, Super Skrull, Retro) look alike. Speaking of the Super Skrull wave, that Johnny Strom head is the same as this one. It's a GREAT sculpt, so I'm happy for the re-use.

Imo Hasbro Pulse retro Johhny Storm is a great addition to the retro FF wave. I don't have the Hasbro Pulse retro Invisible Woman but she looks 💯% better than derpy Sue.

I havent picked up these versions of the 4 yet, I'm still ok with the walgreens releases and the super skrull releases, but if I did have the invisible woman with the bad head, I'd swap it out with the short hair head sculpt that came with the walgreens emma frost
