Ironman just stepped out of the pages of the comic books I read when I was a kid. Will see if mine needs the parts swapped around. What about a how-to video on that from you, Anthony?

One of the first Legends series figures I got ahold of and I dig it a lot. The right heel alignment is backwards, just as yours, but the biceps are on correctly. Oh, and no taint issues lmao

I really choose the best time to start collecting ML action figures, this is my Iron Man, this is the Iron Man a grew reading and loving and on top of that it's actually very well designed as an action figure. There are a lot of QC issues, we can solve them all easily with a hair drier and some cold water but they are there. The biceps, the elbows with the forearms attached and the knees with the calves attached (I'm not sure about this part I need mine in hand to confirm this) need to be changed, the calves also need twisting. Every ML 80's Iron Man I've seen so far has these QC issues and I've seen a few (mine is on it's way but it hasn't arrived yet). Thank you for the review Anthony, as usual I agree with every word you said.

Some wires must have gotten crossed in the factory. The arms are labeled R and L on the inside. But it depends on if you're looking at the figure head on or it you're interpreting the labeling from the figures perspective. Whichever it is, they assumed the other during assembly. Least seems like theres no duplicate parts.

I feel like the Tony Stark head is maybe 10-20% too big? Otherwise, this is my favorite classic Iron Man figure so far. Totally takes me back to the Bob Layton issues of Iron Man that I grew up reading. Thanks for the excellent review, Anthony!

Its nice to finally see a good marvel legends after so long

Definitely the best Iron Man figure I have. The Cap, Thor and Hulk from the Wolverine two pack, are definitely the best figures of all characters. I just wish they gave Captain America the Steve Rogers head.

Beautiful figure but I totally agree about the red - so wished it was painted slightly more vibrant/metallic. But yeh, those proportions are awesome! Thanks man, excellent review!

I don’t know if you have already made a video on it, but when you mentioned switching the arms on this. What is a method to actually do that? Heating it up? Also, I know some figures come with bends in the soft plastic and heating up can fix that but will you make a video on common fixes that we could do at home? Obviously with disclaimers of we may damage our own figures but would be nice to see you do

It is a really nice looking figure. If in didn't have the mezco I would probably get it.

I love this version! Bought as soon as I saw reviews and honestly I’m fine with this as the sole iron man on my display. But honestly, hasbro just can’t seem to go the whole nine yards with almost ANYTHING, as conveyed by the faux pas with the arms.

If you look at the promo images and imagess of figure online the biceps are the right way they wanted it to be backwards for some reason.

Technically speaking, the arms are on correctly, they just molded them backwards for some reason. It does definitely look better when you swap them around. Unfortunately for me, the one I got had 2 left boots (but thankfully he has the correct feet). I didn't want to go through the trouble of a return or exchange or pay another $25 for a new one, so I just cut, shifted, and reglued the boot on the right leg so he'd look and stand better.

Looking at this video and pausing in the arms are completely fine. I don’t need to be switched if you look at the triceps the long head in the short head or on the correct side.

Hasbro assemblers tends to mess up parts placement. When I received my Marvel Sudios 10th anniversary Iron Man, his feet were interchanged. Had to place them in hot water and switch. Easy fix tho.

Really good figure it’s going in my spiderman shelf with war machine I mean as long as they are in a incarnation of spiderman that makes them a spiderman character

It would be cool if you could upload a video fixing his arms. I know it's an easy fix but when I tried to do it on my own the peg felt way too gummy and i got scared and stopped half way, lol. I really like this Iron Man, my only actual problem with the figure is the way they sculpted the boots, they curved them a bit too much and it looks like he is trying to do the Michael Jackson thing.

Yeah the 2 pack classic one is way too small. Ill at least use the old tony head with a suited body if i can find one that fits. I love this figure too glad it passed your review

The Walmart in my town already has all of the 80 years figs on clearance. Anybody else see this at there Walmart's?

In trying to be inclusive with my wife I say "would you like to unbox this guy" shes agrees with a bit of nudging but then says "why doesn't the hand hinge" after seeing the closed fist does,...I wasn't in time, but now his repulser hand has a hinge, so once I find another I'll try out switching his arms, and legs now that you mentioned it, cause this guy is the best so far, sry for the rant

I couldn’t even tell the part were on wrong until people started to mention it I feel like the only people who will care about that either have OCD or have studied the human body so closely that it looks wrong. But I think for most people it looks fine.
