This figure has some new parts to go with some of the oldest in the lineup. Will it be enough to make it worth the price or should people sleep on this one?

Sleepwalker was one of my favorite marvel comics. This figure does not do him justice

Honestly, I'm happy to see Marvel acknowledge Sleepwalker to begin with. Outside of the comic books and a handful of trading cards this character gets zero recognition. As for the figure, I would've liked to see one with his original design: tall, lanky, big bug eyes and longer sleeves. By issue #8 Sleepwalker looked like he was on steroids so I'm fine with this mold. Great review by the way, very in depth. 😊

They've been flipping this body mold's shoulders. The muscles are backward, but they are the correct colors. So that means they're purposely releasing figures with this error. Retro White Vision is the only recent figure using Bucky-Cap that has the shoulders attached correctly.

The Rintrah BAF was definitely worth it for me. I’ll touch up the purple with a darker purple to give the appearance of some more texture, I don’t know the character but I think he looks pretty cool.

Fun fact: this figure is based on Hasbro figure designers/sculptors… Sleepwalking through their work and pumping out subpar products at unjustified retail prices.

I remember in the earlier comics his body shape was more like the classic grays, later issues made him super jacked though

Im currently debating if I should move to other lines for marvel figures. I picked up the Sentinel Miles Morales fig, damn its great! Legends releases a lot of figures per year, but the attention to detail seems overlooked. What lines do you think really capture the aesthetic body wise? I really enjoy how you do reviews!! Quality, cost, comparing to source material, etc. Ive started looking at body shape, proportions, comic likeness, and what the box includes for the price. Keep up the great work man!!!

One day, I will have watched every one of your ML reviews released. I enjoy watching them with a cup of coffee in the morning (actually it's 9pm atm, but I am drinking coffee), so it shouldn't take that much longer for me to get caught up lol

Great video, great review. As a fan of some of their Marvel comic-based characters, Hasbro has fallen deeply in level of quality over the last three years. Put Sleepwalker, the Retro Hobogoblin, Loki, and Tygra together and together they all look like Dollar Store toys to me, not something I want to collect. And very expensive Dollar Store toys at that.

One of these days, you need to get your mitts on a 1000Toys 1/12 Synthetic Human. A little pricey? Yeah, totally, particularly given the paucity of accessories. But beautifully constructed, proportioned, and painted, and I’ve never handled a humanoid figure that poses better. The “Test Type” body has more intricate paint, but the white variant can be gotten more affordably (BBTS has it in stock). Very much up your alley.

Do you plan on reviewing the retro wave Venom? I’m curious on your thoughts as it uses the Omega Red body which in many ways has superior proportions and anatomical sculpting to most Marvel Legends, even considering the trap/shoulder area

Oh wow yeah those eBay prices are absurd. I was lucky enough to have a friend get one for me since he had a Pulse account, it’s okay for 30 bucks but not 100 lol

@@AnthonysCustoms Hope so, it's definitely one of the best Venoms Hasbro's made imo, and it's based on the awesome 90's cartoon so it would suck if people had to miss out on that figure lol
