Since I was a kid, being a fan of the 1994 series, I was obsessed with the episodes that focused on Venom. Even desperately trying to get the Spider-Man The Venom Saga DVD. Awesome vid! Hopefully I'll be getting this figure one day.

Any future Venom figure will most likely use this body not the movie version. The movie version is great! But I’m telling you, this animated Venom figure is amazing! I was on the fence about it, and before cracking it open the movie Venom was my favorite Venom figure to date. Sadly it’s been moved to #2, this animated Venom is so sick! If you missed out on the PulseCon version, be patient don’t over pay (unless you really want to) I’m sure we will be seeing another version of this somewhere down the line!

I grew up fascinated by Venom and Carnage. The animated series, the SNES games, the toys, etc. Nostalgia level over 9000.

Venom has multiple sizes in the comics, animations, and live action. He ranges from being a normal sized big dude to monstrously large that he could stand up to Juggernaut. But seriously Hasbro need to make movie Carnage cause that guy was an absolute unit.

I don't like the trend of figures having a ton of paint detail on the front and NOTHING on the back.

I guess they do it because most collectors display their figures facing forward but it's still lazy especially for the ones who pose their figures in poses in which you can see a bit of the back.

Thats my introduction to Venom as a kid, when spiderman would come on in 2000 on fox kids. Ive been excited since i first saw they were making this figure. Def a must buy for me!

Weird but, here in Mexico 🇲🇽 a national department store called Liverpool got it as an exclusive before it was released in USA at Hasbro Pulse Con. This also happened with the Walgreens Silver Surfer (first version), Nova and Quasar that went to Juguetron and Amazon, i guess Hasbro is expanding their exclusive releases through certain retail stores in different countries.

It's decent, a good step in the right direction but they always have a big flaw with Venom figs. I'm hoping we get a regular release with the shoulder holes fixed

The Select Venom has a ‘backpack’ that simulates ‘The Madness’ and even has extra mini arms that plug into the larger actual forearms; hands are interchangeable

Love the Omega Red Body mould for this. Not too keen on the cell shading. In some pics it looks great in others, not so much. Hope they re-release this in regular deco and maybe with tendrils that port into the shoulder holes. Would be spot on if they threw in an Eddie Brock head too . I'd like to see a Sabretooth on this body.

Very cool but the shoulder holes and missing white squares do bother me. Think the monster Brock Venom is still my favorite. If they release the retail version with the painted squares on the hands then it'll definitely be a buy for me.

Monster Venom would be nearly perfect if they had given him an alternate closed mouth head, alternate hands, and Sasquatch-style neck articulation. It drives me fucking insane how rarely they use the Rhino/Sasquatch/Wendigo style neck joint, despite how many figures DESPERATELY need it - like Monster Venom, Gargan Monster Venom, Toxin, Man-Thing, Ursa Major, Ulik, etc.

Just got my Hasbro Pulse order today, and I got say… This figure in hand blew my mind. Easily my favorite ML of the year so far! If you’re judging by promo photos, don’t! You have to have it in hand to really make a decision! Favorite Venom figure in my collection!

This figure pisses me off. Everything about him is great except the head! The teeth in the series were spaced out and curved a certain direction, but they just threw a regular old venom head on, resculpted a bit, and called it a day.

Very nice ML action figure representation of Venom with ridiculous holes on the shoulders. I'm waiting for the classic Venom from the comics using this mold that will be released later on for sure. Thanks for the review Shartimus.

That's because it never bonded with spiderman which negates it's ability to crawl on walls (without using his claws) have a spider Sense or shooting web's

Oh, Hasbro. Such a great idea for a figure, finally make a great choice with the body mold, and then completely overlook the white squares on his hands and ruin the back paint job. Both were probably done to save a couple of cents.

Venom in the cartoon didn't have the white squares on his wrists Spider-man did however. This figure is 100% accurate aside from the forked tongue. Gonna havs to pick it up
