I really love the retro look of these characters they are putting out. I love that we are getting team's completed, and characters look like they belong together on the shelf.

Man, that Wonder Man head would make an incredible Superman head with only some minor modifications.

I would have preferred if Hasbro had released Molecule Man as a two-pack with Volcana. (Added) For Wonder Man, I wish that Hasbro had given us a second head without the sunglasses instead of those belt jet accessories that will be lost. In this costume, Wonder Man frequently got his eye glasses knocked off to remind folks that Wonder Man is made up of ionic-energy.

It's nice to hear someone on KZfaq that understands why we're still getting use of older molds. I'd love nothing more than for every figure to have updated molds, but, I totally understand that not everything can be done at once.

I barely care about the Orb... but I just think he's fun, and I could use another throwaway villain. Plus, I still have one of those promotional bouncy Uatu eyes from Original Sin, and the scale might be good for a prop, even if I don't like the idea of making the Orb a big threat. Some characters are just fine being goofy. The big threat character is Molecule Man. That is my Molecule Man right there, other than the hair looking a bit too clean. All that's missing is a burger. I love the colours too, and it makes me just want to pit him against Kang -- space vs. time, baby! When you mentioned Wonder Man's costume, all I could think was "I mean... has he ever had a *good* costume?" Sorry sorry, Wonder Man fans, but that man needs to consult Janet, his outfits are... yeah. Though there's something charming about the old costume. But I agree with you about the old Wonder Man looking better thanks to the shoulders. Slumpy shoulders would've looked so weird with that outfit, too.

I honestly don’t mind the body reuse for Orb because I’d rather get him on this body then not get him at all. For minor characters that really don’t need a whole new body the buckycap body is perfectly fine.

And the molecule man, not too far away from an early silver age look for The Mandarin. 🎉

Honestly, I grabbed the Orb just for the head, I have a kitbash idea based off an obscure wrestling character. Put that head on a larger suited body (thinking Happy Hogan), swap the jacket for a trenchcoat, make him into a "Private Eye", put him amidst street-level heroes, or could be a Zodac-like character playing both sides, works for whoever is payin'.

I don't know much about the Orb but I like that he reminds me of the eye guys from the Residents.

I'm ok with Wonder man's shoulders being a bit low, just because it means the jacket will sit lower on his shoulders and lay a bit more naturally.

I think the most tempting of this wave for me is that Wonder Man. I don't have a huge attachment to that character, heck I didn't even know about that design for him until they revealed the figure, but I really like it. I love when Hasbro makes a very era specific design and actually succeed in conveying it, usually it's just a hair sculpt that does that but the whole outfit here just embodies that era of what I feel is classic Marvel, and put amongst other Avengers his design would definitely draw your eye. I think I'll wait to see if he goes on sale, other Avengers like Ant-Man and Hawkeye are higher priority for me this year. Molecule Man somewhat interests me seeing as he's a new Fantastic Four villain, but I'm not that attached to him and as great as the face looks I feel like he needed a more emotive expression given how lively and wacky his costume is. The Orb is cool, I like the goofy out-there comic book villains and I did finally get that retro Ghost Rider, but I've got no attachment to the Orb, or any Ghost Rider villains save for Mephisto who even then is more general Marvel to me. The only other figure in the wave I briefly considered was Strucker, I'd love to have a Hydra display. However on top of lacking space for that he's pretty low on my favorite Cap villains, I'd only get him if I had most of the other Hydra characters, and I skipped plenty others who I liked more than him because they had mediocre figures, so he's a skip too. Plus he's a rare instance where I prefer his more modern designs with the more militaristic uniform. This is definitely a wave of characters I'm not that attached to or who I don't quite consider super iconic, which are my two focuses with this line now.

Those are the best of the wave (plus Strucker).

Definitely getting Molecule Man, would have wished he came with his wand accessory. He stopped using it later on, but would have like to have that option.

Molecule Man's expression is interesting to me. I feel like we can infer a lot into it. Gorgeous colors. Weirdly, the Orb's gun might be my favorite thing here. It's gorgeous. I also really like Wonder Man's face.

I feel like The Orb should have been held back a wave or two and just use the torso from Wonder Man from this wave. I'm tempted to do that myself honestly, just use the legs and Eye from Orb and repaint the Torso and Arms from Wonder Man.

The Orb is one of those figures you can just display for the weirdness and it being interesting without the context of it being a comic book character. Would love it, but yeah, prices of figures nowadays😮‍💨

With the Orb, and Crossfire, and now Hawkeye, I get the feel they're starting to look into old Hawkeye related characters. Crossfire was the big bad guy in his first miniseries, and the Orb's most memorable appearance was when he and Hawkeye were stuck in the desert together during the West Coast Avengers days in the "Hawkeye's-book-in-everything-but-name" Solo Avengers (later Avengers Spotlight). If so, I'm hoping for a classic Mockingbird (first appearance look or WACKO days) and a Trickshot figure, at least. And if they're looking at newer characters, of course a newer Kate Bishop.

Looking at how they curve, I think the figures have them on the wrong sides. Could've been mislabeled like the 80th Iron Man arms.

Love the comments about the Bucky Cap mould at the end! so many people don't seem to understand how this works... They can't just erase the Bucky Cap body from all releases and immediately have all new sculpt on every figure 😆 it's gonna take time to phase completely into painless and new sculpt bodies. Besides, I love still seeing that buck on a few figures! It adds variety to the lines, otherwise before you know it, we'd all be complaining that they're over using the Vulcan body! 😂

Yeah I'm fine with bucky reuse for like 15 to 20 bucks but for full price it's just not okay gor hasbro to do that as a company. I wouldn't pay a buck over 16 for orb. Hasbro charging us more for shit that's over a decade old is just not okay.

I might be on lonely Island here, but I really hate the print tech face painting that hasbro’s been doing. It looks so blotchy and shotty and amateurish. Yes, the way that they used to paint faces before was sometimes hit or miss, but at least figures didn’t look unnecessarily textured in the face as opposed to the rest of the body. It’s also extremely fuzzy looking so something stands out and not in a good way when I look at them
