100%. I painted over mine because I hate the shading on pretty much all figures period.. and pained the visor gold. Much better. The 97 face sculpts on all the figures seem a bit dopey to me

The Vhs head is properly proportion on thia Vulcan body..the new looks small and and gives the neck look longer

XCellent review Dan! There’s a clip from the trailer where all the Xmen are in casual gear and confront Magneto who has Xavier’s will and testament in the Mansion - the Xmen in casual gear from Xmen 97 would make for some nice Legends!

Overall you getting the best value with this release, but in terms of best Cyclops, I'm going with the VHS version. I don't mind the cell shading and the headsculpt is miles better than this new one.

I hate the cell shading but the headsculpt is definitely better. This has the blast effect though

My wave 2 already in my bbts pile of loot, can't wait to receive them. Cyclops looks nice without shading but head kinda a teenager but gonna use it with blast effect. Wave 3 should be Jubilee, Sunfire, Morph, Beast and hopefully they give us an update X-factor Havok updated on the vulcan Body to match the summer family bodies 😅

People on forums and such are hating on his new face but I f'n love it. I find his smirk funny. The head sculp is great and so is the figure. I bought a custom brown x-men jacket for him too. Fantastic.

Another fantastic review my friend! As I was watching, I'm now trying to decide which Marvel Legends Cyclops I like better. I do have this Cyclops but I'm not feeling the head sculpt as much as previous Jim Lee versions. I would love to see a pinless Vulcan body Giant Size X-Men Cyclops that came in the Dark Phoenix 2 pack. That is my favorite Cyclops look as that is the one I grew up with.

The VHS Cyclops body has fewer cell shading than other VHS figs so I don't really mind it, barely noticeable when I put him next to other figures.

i just received mine yesterday, im gonna get out the blast head, and sell the new 97, the bigest hands, the small chin/jaw and big funko head + an awful hair mold, is a let down for me, im gonna keep my VHS Cyclops as my main Scott Summers as always awesome review, have a great weekend :)

That's the 3rd time we got the blast effect. HoX Cyclops had it too. I may pass. I don't care for the head sculpt style or oversized hands, personally. I think Warlock Wave Cyclops is good enough.

Great review. I like this Cyclops but I wish it came with a VHS heads sculpt.Also Magneto is way too short! He is it supposed to be 6"10 and Cyclops supposed to be 6"3.

I wish I never wasted my money on the VHS version. What a load of bullshit this was on Hasbro's part. I do hope they give us the Byrne/Cockrum version with that blast effect and alternate head to go with it.

I found Magneto and X-cutioner on Saturday, then the rest yesterday (Tuesday). I passed on Cyke, so far, but now I’m thinking I should grab him for Morph IF we don’t get w3 of X97. Who do I see for w3? Morph, Beast, a Sentinel, cowboy Logan, Cable, Jubilee. And I’d LOVE it if they snuck in an animated Deadpool while they’re at it. And Mystique.

HASBRO GIVE US A MARVEL LEGENDS X MAN WAVE 3 NOW!!! N no that new cable doesn’t count 😂 GIVE US BEAST JUBILEE MORPH AND SUNSPOT NOW MFS 😂😂😂😂. (We only getting 5 more x men character for the rest of 2024 so hopefully it’s them if not 2025 🤞😢)

The head is WAY TOO BIG!!!, a Hasbro tendency, like we can see also in the Sabretooth figure, making the figures look ridiculous, like kids in a costume, even the 90s Toy Biz one is a masterpiece next to this one, cause the proportions are correct.
