A funny thing happened on the way to Thor's Hammer says he's badass without tactical wear. Also, he already died once, I'm surprised he doesn't run into battle in his birthday suit. But that would just distract his team mates.

Clark Gregg said on an interview that the buisness suit is some kind of superhero costume for Coulson. I found that idea pretty clever and fun.

There are no breaks since Winter Soldier is out next year. It needed to slow down so Witner Soldier can air because everything else comes from what happens after the movie let alone some things from AOS can be pointed out in WS though for those who haven't watch every ep can't make them out

Just like what happened in Thor: The Dark World, there will be an episode where it takes a look at how the world is after the movies events. Though since Winter Soldier depicts an evil side of SHIELD, a big change in the show will probably happen.

SimpleOrigins No one knows yet how Winter Soldier will effect everything, but whatever it is, it will be a big change - the Winter Soldier writers have already said that what happens with the movie is going to change the playfield for the whole entire Marvel Cinematic Universe and set the ground for Age of Ultron, and given that Agents of SHIELD is heavy SHIELD involvement, whatever happens on Winter Soldier will directly effect Agents of SHIELD --- as they said at PaleyFest, watch the April 1st episode to set the ground for Winter Soldier, and then April 8th episode right after Winter Soldier will pick up the immediate aftermath of the fallout - and what I assume will be a pretty big fallout

BetaArtemis I know I've seen the movie and don't see how this show can continue with what happened in that movie.

SimpleOrigins There's plenty of ways this show can continue, plenty of comic book arcs they can follow - Marvel's had this show in the planning for a while, they've got a 5 year plan figured out, I'm sure they didn't come into this without thinking about how the rest of the films will effect the TV show, especially given that Joss Whedon is the one who set up the story arcs and he would have known how Winter Soldier and the films onwards will go and will have built his show specifically to fit in - Marvel plans out their timelines and they would have already figured out how to move on so they will already have answers for how this show will continue - this isn't the first time SHIELD has had to face something like this in the comics and they've always found a way, it would not be hard for the TV show to have already found a story plot to drawn on - they clearly made this show all the while anticipating and knowing how the play field would change once Winter Soldier came out - they are prepared and I'm not worried

Actually I think it's The Leader since Marvel clearly wanted to do something with the character, one of his powers is telepathy and seeing as there's not going to be anymore Hulk movies it makes sense to have The Leader show up. It'd be good to have it be Ultron but he's already showing up in Age Of Ultron and it'd be better to pay off an old storyline then to have another character who's already going to be a major villain in one of the movies.

***** I'm not so sure it's Purple Man, it doesn't account for The Clairvoyant knowing certain information he/she shouldn't be able to know plus if it's a telepathy then it explains why they don't know how Agent Coulson came back to life, Because Coulson himself couldn't recall the memories, they were buried too deep for The Clairvoyant to see.

Timewarpiaman I think the Clairvoyant is Leader or maybe even MODOK. I saw a promo for a future episode and it had a guy in a wheelchair in front of a lot of TV screens maybe that was him.

I think it's too far away from the second Avengers movie for it to realistically be Ultron just yet.

OK, I found Clip 1 on some site. I forget where but it wasn't on KZfaq. It wasn't very exciting anyway. Just John Garrett and Triplett (probably spelled that wrong) walking into a safe house, Deathlock breaks in, they fight a little and then Deathlock (scared off because John Garret used a electrocuting weapon) leaves by punching a hole in the roof. The end. Much less exciting then it sounds.

I don't think that's his final look, he's developing to becoming more and more like the comics as the series goes on, I can assure you half his face will be blown off down the line and he'll become more mechanical.

Looks like DeathLok is going to be 'constructed' over several episodes as he gets upgraded. I take it all back. (And Blonski even got a name check this ep'; all we need now is a Robert Downy Jr. cameo!)

Ian Matkovic In the actual full episode Skye does an x ray of Deathlok which reveals iconic comic book look which is the metal face underneath the left half of his face where the cybernetic eye is, I believe he'll get damaged again and the metal face will be visible
