Wow. What a redemption arc/saga for Scarlet Witch. I never thought she could do something to match/ take away what she did at House of M. I'm actually legit happy for this fictional character.

Taking away the possibility of death is a 2 edge sword. It's a cool narrative concept but it also removes a lot of the narrative stakes. If we all know they can't really die, it removes a lot of the suspense.

Mutants achieving Immortality is a Big reveal since Scarlet Witch was Resurrected. The Eternals are gonna be pissed when they find out that the X-Men have unlocked the Secret of Immortality which will lead to another Civil War. but this time, both Captain America, Iron Man and the Avengers will have to get involved in this fight.

I'm so upset about this. As a Toad fan this was bs. There was no conversation between Magneto and Toad. And on top of that, Magneto literally abused Toad in the past. Toad even went to the X-Men, who also treated him poorly but I don't wanna get into that, just to get away from Magneto. He literally begged Wolverine to just let him be a janitor. Why would he agree to help Magneto????? It's absolutely ridiculous. They didn't even give him a shred of dignity as he's dragged into the pit of exile.

Making your characters immortal equally makes them vastly more boring. This is a semi interesting subject that will only work if immortality stops working or something happens to the island.

I used to read x men a lot when I was younger and got back into it when house of x and powers of x came out and I gotta say, I'm not really a fan of the whole living on krakoa, resurrection and being gods arc. It took away the essence of what made the x men appealing to people, them being outcasts and looked down on but still helping humans. It was more fun to read and really made an impact on readers especially since the theme of the stories reflected real world issues like prejudice and racism. Thats why the x men were so good before. Now it feels like they're better than everyone and don't care what happens to humans, not very "hero" like to me. And yeah making every mutant immortal takes away some suspense to the writing of the stories. Also, can anyone fill me in on what happened to some stories, I stopped a few months ago. Last thing I saw was omega red being revealed he was working with dracula to take down the x men, it was on wolverine's issues. Thanks readers!

I love what you did with this story highlighting how she redeemed herself because I didn't think about that but you left out one intrical part: this helped ESTABLISH Nightcrawler's new Mutant religion. The Spark and we're mutants old will go when they die if they are unable to be Resurrected at all or choose not to be. Great video though. This story plot has a lot of potential 🤞🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I really love this. It gives an in universe explanation for bringing characters back, while some can stay gone due to either wanting to stay in the waiting room or just being in the queue. Rather than finding loopholes for characters, we have an in universe resurrection that doesn't feel cheap

I feel like they're writing themselves into a corner. If no mutant can die, then it takes the risk, the excitement out of the stories. I mean I feel like it will be harder and harder for them to find ways to make stories intriguing, to make you even care what happens to the character, after all they can always be brought back. It seems very similar to problems that DC had in the Pre-crisis universe with Superman. He was so powerful at that point in time, and his only weaknesses were Kryptonite and Magic it became harder and harder for the writers to find ways to show any danger to the character, or to find challenging villains for him to fight (Yeah we had Mongul, and Darksied and the Crisis itself but that took the collapse of the entire multiverse to be a threat to him). And it got harder and harder to find ways to have him encounter Kryptonite often enough to remind us that he was vulnerable to it but not so often that it became the standard plot device when all else failed. This just feel to me like they have put themselves in the exact same position and, to be honest, it takes away all of the pathos and emtional impact of anything happening to the characters at all.

I always wondered "what makes the Scarlet Witch a Mutant?" if her powers is just magic. Illyana is a magic-user as well but she has portal teleportation as her mutant power. Unless her bad luck powers she began with was her mutant ability and chaos magic came afterward. Wanda is a complicated character for me and it's even more complicated now that she's not blood with Magneto. Also, is she the first "non-mutant" to be resurrected in Krakoa?

It's like Krakoa is slowly turning into an earthling Krypton, without the threats of conquering Earth (yet, and probably it will sometime soon). Something that sounds amazing, but at the same time betrays everything the X-Men originally meant to be, and it goes against everything they standed for before the foundation of this mutant sanctuary. If I may be bold, I feel like all the writters are slowly but surely building the path for this new generation of super humans to finally turn them (all krakoan mutants) into the new villains that will shape a new era for modern times superheroes in Marvel. It could be extremely risky, betraying the old fans that grew with the heroic faces of these characters, loved by so many, and a lot of people surely would stop reading and leave, but at the same time... it could finally set a newly, different path to refresh an entire franchise and universe, and rise again the popularity of comics, so left behind today... It could be insanely cool having super powered mutants threatening humans by considering them inferior, weak, useless... Exactly the opposite of what it used to be, and it feels like a master turn of events, at least to me. Thanks for reading, and sorry if I made some mistakes (English is not my first language lol)

I don't like the idea that no mutant will be permanently dead that's why I'm highly suspected either by the end of this run or at some point soon Magneto and Scarlet Witch are going to get expose most likely leading to a mutant Civil War where I can imagine Professor X and the other moral face Heroes are going to want that Resurrection Place taken down maybe just the dead may not even want it as a thing just under the idea avoid Scarlet did to create it
