Ben Barnes is a fantastic actor holy shit

Even despite the fact that they did a terrible job with the scars, the dude literally carried the entire second season. He was incredible.

"This is hard for me, you know? Losing my pretty face just because I killed my best friend's family? I mean, girls don't look at me anymore!"

The makeup was bad - but holy shit Ben Barnes was great.

I wish they had made scars look how they were in Punisher: War zone, but Ben Barnes still kills it as someone who has no memories of getting faced scarred and betrayed his brothers.

Because many don’t understand, in the comics it’s his face that’s completely disfigured. Here they didn’t do that for 5 reasons. 1) when his face is disfigured his mind is more or less intact. So if his mind is intact then nothing is changed since season 1 ending apart from now he blames Frank for the carrousel. Also a disfigured mind is much more unpredictable than a disfigured face. 2. When Billy has lost his memories then it allows him to be both unaware of his crimes, and feel betrayed when he finds out it’s Frank. We are the sum of our experiences, and if Billy has lost experiences, then he’s a different person. 3) Also these days doctors are great, and if they made Billy look like he did in the movie then that would be unbelievable, realistically speaking. 4) Also it would require putting prosthetics on Ben Barnes that would damage his acting. 5) Also it demonstrates that’s Billy is that way by nature. He lost his memories of being a criminal manipulating vets and his company that allowed him to do it. Yet he went back to that life again by choice and used vets to make a criminal gang. It was his nature to manipulate others into helping him serve his agenda, including killing them if they endangered him or if they offended him too much. it was his nature to use violence, to kill without any doubts and and chase money.

Honestly if they added a few more scares ut would actually be perfect reconstruction nowadays is actually extremely good

look at those perfect movements, its like none of his muscles got slit with broken pieces of mirror, wow.... Not one eye lost after all those punches or slams against the mirror. And that nose, holy shit, it seems like the Punisher forgot to punch the nose. And he looks pretty well shaved too, even gave a nice shape to his beard.

Must admit that Russo was probably the most tragic character ive seen on Netflix, the fact that he doesn't remember what he did but everyone else does

I'm salty they didn't go the full nine yards with the scarred look. He looks like basically nothing happened. I get that Barnes is a handsome man but he's a decent actor and should have been allowed to be Jigsaw

The way Billy Russo acted to Curtis shows that he doesn't even know what he did he had lost his memory but that didn't change Curtis mind there is nothing personal between them but he want him dead and that's make Fan's to hate him and Madani including me the second season of the Punisher series didn't make Fan's to love Curtis and Madani because of the way they hate Billy Russo and he doesn't mean to harm anyone of them that's so disappointed I'm disappointed with them

Honestly, after watching the season 1 finale and being hyped up until that first photo of him in season 2, and then watching a few videos. I never watched this season. These look like cat scratches on his face, the damage the Punisher did to him in the s1 finale was insane, at least half of his face should've been rebuilt. The glass fragments sticking out everywhere, the whole face bloody and bruised, broken, mangled. And they give him this look, think there's a scene in season 2 where someone on the street calls him a freak. He's still handsome even with those petty scars. This show really failed the true fans. Unbelievable how a shit movie as Punisher War Zone still has the definitive Jigsaw look.

This scene shows that Billy Russo can't remember what he did, Curtis knew it but he's selfish he want him dead,if Billy is the guy he was in the previous season he will just killed him but he's not that would've change Curtis mind but Curtis is selfish he still wants to killed him and Billy doesn't even know that Curtis want him dead, there are lots of errors in the second season of the Punisher and I'm very sure that is it got cancelled 😓 😓😓

my only complaint with this series is how they barely bothered to disfigue billys face! All they did was put a couple scares. They should have really fucked up his face more.

great acting, but the makeup team kinda failed. Not nearly enough scars like in the comics. His entire face shoulda been messed up like leather face.
