ALSO. The binds for my controller are set to where my L3 and R3 are the left and right d-pad. Be sure to change your binds in the PlayStation settings so you can do some of these moves.

Insomniac really dropped the ball with combat, especially end game wise. Sucks we need to invent our own “combos” like this

@@tenusboat … the activision games all had significantly worse combat than insomniacs. The only one that even kind of compared was web of shadows. The rest of em were not as good as the combat in SM2 lol

@@tenusboatthe only thing they can take from activation spiderman is allowing for more than 4 hit basic combos other than that the combat is better in every way and more accurate to how a spiderman normally fights

Hey, just stumbled on your channel. Amazing work, enjoying your videos. Please keep it up. Thanks for sharing and helping others explore the depth in combat for this game with your videos and your tutorial as well. Will give it a try and practice although I’m still figuring stuff out on Marvel Spider-Man Remastered as well. You, Game Breaker god and sonisymbiotic are doing wonders when it comes to exploring the combat for the Insomniac Spider-Man games. They may not Web Of Shadows but they have their own charm and style that is still being explored. A bit of a weird request but I’d love to see you do another combat video with Peter using the Advanced 1.0 suit (I’m a sucker for that suit honestly) in a Hunter base and Symbiote nest. I’d like to see more of your play style especially with the spider arms and gadgets only, what Peter can do without symbiote abilities in combat. I love me some black suit/symbiote abilities but I feel like good old red and blue and spider arms/tech Peter gets overlooked and is underrated. Of course, if you don’t feel like doing requests at the moment or just don’t want to in general that’s perfectly fine. Your content in general and I’m sure your future content in general will be enjoyable regardless. In the meantime, have a great day!

I’m having trouble with the storm rush bounce off , I’m holding forward then jumping into dodge but it launches me way to far most of the time any tips on that one specifically ?

I think I’m not holding the stick straight forward enough , but also for the web yank slam is it a timing thing ? I’m tryna get that down and that seems to be the most troublesome , do I let go of right trigger then hold x right after it pulls him up ?

you have to be quick. when you charge jump and dodge, hold x and you should go back and bounce off

you don’t do it in the game, you do it in the button assignments in PlayStation settings. switch them out there and you’ll be good

@@itaybarayev6201 where you push the left stick depends on where you want to go. If you want to swing cancel forward for example. face spiderman away from the enemy, then swing cancel back into the enemy. Push the left stick forward while you swing cancel in this case.

1:47 when you do the swing cancel here how are you already positioned to do it backwards I can’t get ts at all

i flick the left stick backwards and then ground pound. i just do it so quick that it looks like im pressing them simultaneously. practice doing it slow first, then you’ll get it down pat.

im struggling with swing cancel. it's the analog stick, which direction should i put it in? im putting it in every direction, and it's the swinging that i have to do when im starting to groundslam, sometimes, it works, but most of the time it doesnt, any tips?

when you’re swing cancelling forward, face spiderman away from the enemy and start the ground slam. When the ground slam starts, hold R2 and press circle while holding the left stick toward the enemy.

Love seeing swing cancelling getting some attention, super cool looking, and has worked since the the PS4 version of the first game. Out of curiosity, how did you change the button for the charge jump shortcut? I've been using right on the d-pad, which I can use fairly consistently and I didn't find a way to change it in the settings

I put the charge jump on the left dpad shortcut and changed the binds on my controller so that L3 is the left dpad. Go to accessibility and controller and change button assignments.

change your binds on your controller. Assign the left dpad to L3 and the right Dpad to R3. Then assign the right Dpad to the down Dpad so you can keep your symbiote surge and mega venom blast.

i'm having a hard time with the storm rush. I don't get the timing and already spent so many hours. 😅. my best is 1 out of 10 and even that rarely happens. mostly 0 out 10. 😅
