Only thing thats missing is for them to add an option to have the spideys randomly scream and yeal in joy like they do in the movies while they swing.

If I recall well in the previous games or just in Miles Morales you could trigger this by doing tons of air tricks and then swinging

Spiderman in his Literal first Costume had Web wings ....... Steve Ditko always drew him with web wings. The classic suit in black and red is the original first comic suit where he has his arms spread and a criminal in one hand and his web wings spread. When I was little my spiderman pajamas had Web wings and also the spiderman in the original cartoon had Web wings for like the entire last few seasons. He's not being Superman he's being spiderman , the web wings are Literally an iconic part of his design.

It would be cool if in the next game they add some sort of ability to interact with the cars. Like vehicle springboard to gain a boost when jumping off cars. Or even cooler better parkour animations that mimics how the live action spideys parkour and weave through cars and trucks during swings. Like if you press x near a vehicle while swinging it triggers a flip into webzip or something.

The way the momentum looks like it carries over to swings more looks so much better than the last 2 games. Can't wait for it to come to PC in 4-5 years.

My biggest gripe with the first game was that the swinging felt very rigid in some cases like being close to walls or getting to close to the ground! This looks sooo much better.

I’m considering buying this game now because you can turn off the swing assist. That really bothered me when I played the first one and I ended up dropping it in part. This is a huge improvement.

I cannot wait for this game for PC, (yes the ps5 is the best console and even use the controller for my pc, but am brokie and cant justify a console for one game (EVEN IF THE FOMO IS REAAAAAAL). The very first thing i do is gonna be 0 swing assist. Looks v familiar to the OG SM2 game physics wise with no assists.

People complaining about web wings when thats spideys literal Original Design from Steve Ditko. The Classic suit with the black and red combined with the web wings Is the Literal Steve Ditko Suit. Plus the maps huge i slingshot more than i thought i would cause often i gotta travel halway across the city and i havent used fast travel once. But swinging and transitioning between the web wings and more swinging with max speed hella tricks and some vertical boosts just feel to Good not to fly. Plus you can literally make switch between them at will making this the most creative swinging Ever.

It's basically a sort of difficulty range for swinging, the lower you put it the smarter and more skilled you have to be cause it goes from the game somewhat helping you to relying on realistic physics And trust me 0 swing assist is incredibly hard

Dashes are annoying and you switched direction too often just because you got directed to too left or too right other than it was great

Still think that this is a mechanic that should've been off by default, like make the easy way an option, not the other way around and teach the player how to get the funzone. Spider Man deserves a game mechanic that motivates players into learning it. Instead of always giving them the power fantasy, without some challenge wall. Like how Arkham City challenges puzzle solving and deduction skills with the Riddler, which is the essence of being the Batman
