In this my new video of Marvel's Spider-Man you can see the game scenes where Miles and Peter are defeated by various enemies and suffer major injuries.
This Marvel's Spider-Man peter gets his bones broken vs miles gets his bones broken video is fully played, recorded and edited by me, the video is taken from the ps5 version of Spider-Man Remastered and the ps5 version of Spider-Man Miles Morales .
In this video I show you a comparison between the 2 insomniac games where you can see all the most difficult moments of the two protagonists, who more than once are almost killed by their opponents.
In the first part of the video you can see when peter gets his bones broken in the clash with the sinister six, here Peter has to face Vulture, Scorpion, Electro, Mister Negative, Rhino and also Doctor Octavius, obviously peter comes out defeated and with several broken bones .
Miles also has a first fight where he remedies several hits, after chasing the Tinkerer, Miles decides to face him to stop him but Phin hits him hard and stops only when Spider-Man reveals that he is Miles.
In the second and last part of the video we can see the heaviest fights for both, miles gets his bones broken again by Tinkerer while Peter loses another fight with Doc Ock and is hardly saved by Silver Sable.

@@billthompson4018 Agreed, if games can get a open world and story as good and big as RDR2 then you're goated but Fallen order was so empty, what I liked about red dead was meeting the types of new people, talking, finding out about their lives. Fallen order was to story heavy when it was just point A to point B

Peter's version had a better story and almost everything good in it. But miles version improved animations and also his character development. But i prefer Peter in the game or in the comics and movies. (except animation because of spider verse 😁)

i get that the whole point of miles in his game is that he’s an amateur who’s only just doing some real hero work for the first time. he’s even younger than peter. but damn are his mistakes and weakness hella frustrating to see, especially compared to peter.

@@syn2209 actually in term of healing, Miles is mile ahead of peter which was stated in comic. But agree that his abilities still growing. His sense and physics is lacking due to his mental is weak and body of a kid...but also because the body of a kid, his healing is rapidly and stronger than old man Peter. He also have very cool gimmicks.

i feel like it’s part of his character development. as he slowly makes mistakes, he realises what he has done and reflects on it. which leads him to make his new suit and gather information. slowly, he will make less noticeable mistakes.

Pete being more of the tank spider while Miles function as a Dnd rogue with his venom blast. I think he could take Pete on he is skilled enough in hand to hand about half the time. Also Peter is physically more powerful than miles when miles isn’t using venom to aid his actions (which is why they made him jump higher and knockout enemies easier without venom) which would also translate to him having higher durability and better pain tolerance in general. As well as being used to the pain and older. Let’s not shit on miles too much.

The Spider-Man oath is “you’ll get Cool superpowers but in order for you to learn responsibility one of your closet family members will die and you’ll wish you did a thousand things different and someone else got bit. But then you’ll get over it and be a good Spider-man. But as soon as you can relax a new villain shows up and it turns out they’re someone else that’s close to you and you have to defeat them whilst carrying those emotions. I never noticed this until now but when Octavius throws Peter off the rooftop, there’s a small showing of remorse on Octavius’s face because he already knew that Peter was Spider-Man. This scene happened way before the ending of the game. And at the end of the game we find out that Octavius already knew that Peter was Spider-Man. So in a way this scenes was kind of a foreshadow that Octavius already knew Spider-Man’s identity. A subtle detail I never noticed until watching this.

its cool to see the difference between the characters in how they manage pain, peter has been doing this for a long time now and has broken probably so many bones he cant even count and now its at the point where he doesn't even care and will just soldier on because he knows he has to whereas miles is new to it and so him taking the beating that he did was nothing like peters but since he has no experience its probably the worst pain he has ever felt assuming he hasn't broken bones before.

No, for me personally, i like miles's gameplay better, smoother animation, better graphics enhanced in every techinical way but the story was definately better in the original. The whole dock ock, sinister six, mister negative, aunt may deal was better than the Phin stoy. No hate towards that game, i did enjoy it, but the original spider man had a better climax. Also the main problem with a virus being spread for revenge was also perfect. Everything made sense. A lot of people prefer miles's one but I love peter parkers story. (Also soundtrack)

Honestly, I agree, I think that peter's gameplay was better I feel like it just felt like he was more experienced with the movements and the way he moves while miles seemed like he was still learning the ropes to his fighting style and trying to find out how he wants to fight which I found hella cool that they added that feature

The icing on the cake would’ve been if the spiderman games were like the Arkham games where it showed some serious battle damage over the course of the game. Only thing that took me out of the immersion was watching spiderman get beat down and have a clean suit once the cutscene is over

I was wearing the spider armor mark 4 when this scene happened and the armor was covered in dents and scratches and spots of paint coming off everywhere

@@void335 yeah in certain cutscenes you will see the damage but as soon as you go back to gameplay the suit is fine. I hope that changes in the sequel. Only time Spiderman got damaged in the cutscene and it remained damage was in the very beginning after fighting Kingpin. I hope they take it to the next step moving forward.

They do a cool thing with Miles where his suit gets damaged as he loses health. Then it's repaired after he heals. But yeah the option to have consistent damage over the story would be cool. Something we can toggle I reckon .

In my opinion Peter had worse injurys but your not wrong miles hasn't had much experience. Also Peter was against 6 guys who all were overpowering him but miles was against his friend. you could use the fact that they're friends but it didnt stop her from holding back. She broke 3 of miles ribs and peter broke 14

I think Spider-Man and Batman are probably the super heroes that take the most beatings and just walk it off, even despite spidey's healing abilities. Theyre also probably the most emotionally scarred that arent full on antiheroes. But yeh I remember his first run in with sinister 6 and being like.... damn. The bit when he just gets kicked the shit out of by them is so gut wrenching, and I wouldnt be surprised if it brought back trauma of getting bullied, and then the electrocution by electric and the scream. Amazing voice work, like its hard to watch Spidey get so absolutely fucked up in such a thug like way
