Frank's conversation about the danger of a knife made me get false hope when Sam threw Billy's knife out. I had totally forgotten about his Assassin's Creed-ass hidden blade, so it threw me off. Also, I just realized that Billy's hidden blade is the perfect weapon for his character: it's not only brutal, efficient, and sleek, but it's sneaky. He makes it look like he has no weapon until he's just close enough to strike. Perfect for a snake like him. Loving these reactions!

Actually he's resentful that she shipped him off to an orphanage/group-home. As Billy said "I would have given you anything you wanted IF you'd have only wanted me."

This show gets the PEOPLE and what's going on with them so right; that's what made this a hit.

The shootout at the warehouse was the result of Madani trying to lure whoever was spying on her office by saying it was Frank going to a gun buy. Billy and his men showed up to kill Frank, and then Billy killed all his men and Sam in order to remove anyone who could tie back to him.

Actually besides frank castle billy Russo are my favorite. I think they did really well in his character development and making him a villain did well in bringing justice on his comic adaption

Billy killed the guy on the stairs so he would say Billy was there.

I've already gone off elsewhere on KZfaq about how impressed I am with this show being about how so many characters are examples of trauma and what happens if it's not dealt with, so I'm trying not to just repeat myself. But I will say that this episode ... one of the true lights of it was that when Frank realized he screwed up reading Micro's son (and the son ...dammit, is it Zach?...anyway, when he actually revealed his own hurt), Frank had absolutely no trouble switching up tactics and becoming a comforting, reassuring influence. That's ... well, that's not how I'd want that kind of conversation to EVER go, but damned all if that didn't add depths to the character of Frank Castle that I never really felt in the comics. Also, yeah, this was the episode where they revealed just how low Billy Russo is. Uuuuuuughhhh. And now the evil me is chuckling because you're in the back half of the season. I can't wait to see what you think of the rest.

one of my thoughts watching this show back when it aired was imagine working on such a good project for it to get cancelled after season 2. who knows where the story of Frank Castle could have gone after this.

It's already been said that the woman at the beginning was Billy's mom, but to go into a little more detail it's heavily implied that she was a drug addict and that eventually put Billy up for adoption. This caused him to grow up in foster homes, which can be pretty rough to say the least. Now that he's rich, he's basically keeping her alive in a constant drug-induced state. Sort of a "ironic hell" type situation.

This show is flawless! Iron Fist writers/creators could learn a thing or two.

Billy killing own men: Survivors can talk. Dead men can't name him. Knife cut to throat: He cut his wind pipe, to stop him from being able to talk. It is something they are taught, when taking out enemy combatants (in close quarters) that could call for help/reveal them.

They do such an excellent job of making you hate the two villains. Just wait the conclusion is so so satisfying.

The writing, the acting, the directing, the entire production of the show are all outstanding. Action, comedy, drama, mystery, suspense, and even some romance all wrapped up into one. If there aren't some Emmys out of this then Frank Castle should pick some new targets. Please don't feel alone, Nikki. This show gets to others as well, myself included. So many moments in this episode. The scene with Frank and Zach tears me up every time. Great reaction from the both of you. The expression on Nikki's face at the end is truly the definition of "Shook". Eagerly looking forward to the next reaction. NOTE: No mooses were harmed or exploited in the making of this episode! ;-) LOL!!!!!

This episode was shocked all over. Shock after shock after shock. Alot of emotions here with the kid they tought was gonna hurt someone but being just hurt after all. Billy killing Stein and then afterwards showering Madani off. Shocker! There isnt a Marvel show that i watch at all, but the punisher i do so like. "You can share us" that sounded Awkward haha. Great reaction!

I just wanted to say that I loved that "scared straight" scene between Frank and the kid, because you discover that he wasn't being a bully, he was being bullied and was lashing out. Once Frank realized it he stopped immediately and held that kid like he was his own son. Really amazing scene.

I love the foreshadowing here. The scared straight talk about Frank saying a knife is better than a gun, closing the distance. Then Billy closes the distance with Sam and rips into him to make him dead.

Hey, look... There's a scene set near some dockyards where two people want to have a private conversation. I'm so surprised right now by the choice and scene and setting. Just look at how surprised I am right now... This has never happened before in entertainment... I mean, a conversation at the docks? No way! This is just crazy...

Every time after watching this episode, I have to take a break before watching the next one. This episode and an upcoming one, I have to wait for a few hours before continuing with the series.

If you guys like this show I'd definitely recommend watching the other Marvel Netflix shows sometime in the future. They're just as good as this one (with one or two execptions), and they're bound to blow your socks off. Anywho, great reaction as always guys!!!

If you were holed up in a secluded basement presumed to be dead, and one of your girlfriends goes over to the house of "Widower Steven" to help him out with something, and after knocking back a few Steven plants one on her but is immediately pushed away to snap him out of it, I'd bet you might be a little butthurt about it, too (unless you're one of those couples with that special kind of "understanding" you've agreed to [plus the whole "'til death do you part" thing]; but something tells me that's not the case at all).
