Guys, I've realized now that I made an error. Ebony Maw is a POOL 2 card. I don't know how I made that mistake, I must have just confused the pools. I could have sworn he was pool 1, but I was wrong. You have my apologies. I would replace Ebony Maw with Captain America until you unlock him in Pool 2. Sorry again :(

I appreciate that you apologized for the mistake the moment you caught it, but I REALLY respect you for providing another Pool 1 card to replace Ebony Maw, in order to still keep the video beginner friendly. I can imagine it would have just been easier to say "oops lol just get good until you get this deck" but you going the extra mile to make up for a minor mistake and help your viewers does set you apart, or at least makes you stand out in a good way.

@@EvanX86 Pool 1 is the cards you unlock in 1 to 214 Collection Level. You need to hit 215+ to get cards from Pool 2. So you can't get Ebony Maw until 215, and you might not get him until the end of Pool 2. Finish Pool 2, you go onto Pool 3.

One thing is see nowhere and I wish it'd be added is a small section at the end of those guides with possible replacements/upgrades from pool 2. Not a whole new deck, but what a few cards could change to transition into pool 2. That'd be cool !

Finally a video about how to use each type of cards. I can find is “this deck is op!”. Not every gamer is young. I love this game but its rough trying to figure everything out with no real channel that explains. From my experience.

Love the content my dude. Just a heads up, Ebony Maw is Pool 2. I got him the card right after 214 collection so i got extremely lucky on my first pool 2 pull and am dominating with this deck. Spectrum is kind of overpowered

This deck is nasty! I've been running a dino deck, and a apocolypse with some decent success, but this spectrum team has increased my win rate so much more! One thing I love is that this deck gives you many different ways to win and is super versatile! I appreciate

@@AlexanderCoccia Yeah people totally sleep on his 7 power and think it’s gonna be an easy lane to win so they’re usually tricked into contesting it, only for him to get buffed by Kazar, Blue Marvel Spectrum, and maybe a Klaw and Mr fantastic for added buff if he’s on the right or mid lane.

You suggested Captain America instead of Ebony Maw, but since the lock down strategy doesn't work without him, isn't better to swap out a couple of cards (I was thinking about one between Armor/Colossus and Lizard, to add more 1 cost cards to benefit more from Ka-Zar?

I use Squirrel Girl and Korg instead of Maw and Klaw and it works for me well.

I would do nightcrawler, because being able to move is such a huge help at getting into certain locations.

I feel like the meta right now isn't very beginner-friendly. I can only do ongoing with my collection so far and I'm already getting put against lockdown decks. That wouldn't be so bad if every location right now wasn't pro-lockdown/disruption as well. Just gotta keep getting railed till I get more cards I guess. 🤷

Hey Alexander, I subbed out Amor and Lizard for a Nightcrawler and Miles Morales combo. Not technically an ongoing deck anymore but a really nice disrupt. You play Nightcrawler and on his move, Miles becomes a 5 Power at 1 Cost

Love this deck. But I feel like Kazar should be substituted for Captain America. With only 2 one cost cards in the deck, Kazars value is really low.

Thanks for the vid…sorry to nitpick, but Namor is usually pronounced with a long A sound (rhymes with “play more”).

Was really excited about this deck when i first watched the video. Then was really disappointed to learn Maw is a Pool 2 card. Then was really excited again when he turned out to be the first card I pulled in Pool 2. Do you have a discord server or anything like that? I’m not able to make livestreams but would love to discuss some of these decks in more detail

Check out the KaZoo deck Alex has, that's a great way to use Onslaught. I'm at rank 50 using just that deck.

I’m running a deck currently based on destroying cards and getting buffs for it. I’m still in pool 1 like 160ish. I was wondering if you could use this deck maybe make some suggestions to make it better and or best ways to play it. @@drwps. it’s definitely a fun deck like I “feel” like it takes more skill than the meta decks but it’s inconsistent some games I roll people some decks I draw terrible and can’t play it well. I’m looking for more consistency out of it but it’s fun to play.

Does anyone know why sometimes the spectrum effect doesn’t proc? Without any destination shenanigans sometimes during turn 6 spectrum is just a body and the effect does not happen

The pool 3 version uses more smaller ongoing cards like Goose and Quinjet, so its always going to be top heavy in Pool 2, but it still works

Hello I am a very new player. At collector level 120. Wondering what the best replacement for Captain America and Namor would be? At the moment i am using Ironheart and Wolfsbane. not sure if this is Ideal?

I just made a pinned comment about this, I actually made a mistake. Ebony Maw is a POOL 2 card. It was an error on my behalf. I would sub him with Captain America for now. I'm sorry about that :(
