@@kubu9714 Steve was always worthy to lift Mjolnir. He didn't do it out of respect for Thor. There is no "almost worthy" or "not worthy enough". You can either lift Mjolnir or you can't. And with all due respect, with everything Steve has been through up to that point, all of the sacrifices he made and his willingness to keep on standing up for what is right and defending those who can't defend themselves - even if it cost him his life - you don't get any worthier than that. Civil War was merely a difference of opinion over accountability for their actions, not a defining moment for Steve's worthiness.

Captain has been my hero since I was a child. He has a shield as a weapon, none lethal, but capable of saving lives. I've always been a man that runs towards danger, not from it. I named my guardian after him and he protects me. I simply can't identify with any other hero. Saving others and doing the right thing has been in my DNA for my entire life. I'm so glad that Evans played the character. I can't think of anyone else better suited.

This video just reminds me of how good of a man Captain America is and why everybody loves him even non-Americans love him and that's because of what he stands for, doing the right thing even if it hurts you, your friendships, or your reputation. and standing up for the average person or the little guy. "I put my faith in people... individuals and I'm happy to say for the most part they haven't let me down, that's why I can't let them down". Also, I'm team cap, if I have the ability to save people during a crisis I'm not gonna wait for the government to say "ok now you can go save lives".

I'll be honest, I never really cared for Cap for the longest time. I was always a fan of Iron Man when it came to the comics, and he was my favorite in the movies. I never saw the appeal. Even after the first movie, I thought he was all right. The second movie really changed everything for me, and over time, Cap became my favorite hero and I look back on the first movie fondly. And I look up to him a lot.

The 2 points of the film that did it for me were when it was pointed out he'd tried to enlist 5 different times in 5 different cities and was so god damned loyal to his fellow man (Despite them routinely humiliating him once he got into the program) He was still willing to fall on a grenade for them without even a moment's hesitation. It's the same reason he got the serum, a man that staunchly loyal and trusting without question? Say what you will about Thor's hammer or Tony Stark's iron-man suits, it made him stick out ahead of the pack.

One of my favorite moments in all of film was when Captain America tightens his shield to close an open wound and walks towards Thanos even though he can barely stand... staring at Thanos' army of thousands and knowing he is going to die.... but the world deserved to go down with a fight... and -- like he said in Winter Soldier -- "The price of freedom is high but it's a price I'm willing to pay. And If I'm the only one, then so be it"... Such a great character and portrayal from Evans. I don't think there will ever be a character quite like Captain America.

Every year I come back to this video and I still get chills. I get chills when Steve picks up the hammer. I get chills when he's facing down Thanos' army. But most of all I get chills on the smallest segment of this video - the ending scene where Steve's dancing with Peggy in the living room. Sam asks if he wants to tell him about her, and Cap simply says no....no I don't think I will. As if what they shared was simply a pure love between two people........................and that it was theirs alone. I'm so glad they finally got to have that dance.

My favorite Cap America, becoz he always stood by what is right, sacrificed everything for the protection of people, no arrogance of power he has....Chris Evans is the best fit for this role.

I love this as much as I love Steve which is all the way to the moon and back. You have captured the essence of Steve Rogers; a good man. Hes not grand or extravagant he's just a good man and that's enough. He gets up when he falls and pulls others up with him. If Marvel doesnt bring him back I riot.

Chris Evans as Steve Rogers will never be beaten, the whole portrayal of Captain America is excellent (As someone who has never read the comics and from the UK haha). A man who would give all to protect those who couldn't protect themselves and although it's all fictional, I think it's a good rule and person to aspire to be.

I’d just like to say that this was fantastic. Not only was this great editing but this was touching for anyone who’s favourite marvel character is Captain America. That little touch towards the end with the “fury” song was…perfection.

That moment where he’s going at thanos alone he looks just like the skinny Steve he used to be. The little guy who just doesn’t know when to give up. Powerful. A beautiful tribute.

Steve Rogers is such an inspiration for me to become a better person I've grew up with this guy, starting by watching the First Avenger when I was 8, and ending off with Avengers: Endgame when I was 16. I always loved Steve. There is something so amazing about watching his role progress as he literally picks up a hammer made for Gods and almost kills the Titan Thanos, or when he was on the run from Hydra, or when he chose to stand up for what was right and true, even if other colleagues didn't agree with him. What an amazing character. And what an amazing actor Chris Evans is.

A man who is respected by a God whom we all consider the strongest worthy Avenger, and that God follows this man's lead in the fight against a Titan and his army. This man is truly the greatest hero.
