The inspiration behind this video:
A compelling MCU theory for The Fantastic Four suggests how Marvel's First Family can make the jump from the 1960s to the modern-era. With Marvel Studios confirming the official cast along with new artwork on Valentine's Day, various clues and references suggest that the Fantastic Four's story will initially be set in the 60s. However, there's already a perfect way for the superpowered family to interact with the MCU's heroes in the present.
The Fantastic Four's cast includes Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards's Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm's Invisible Woman, Joeseph Quinn as Johnny Storm's Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm aka The Thing. Marvel's casting announcement also came with artwork featuring the actors in their respective roles while also teasing the film's earlier setting.

Good actors overall. Not sure woman playing Sue is the best choice, but we will see. Jessica Alba did a good job in early 2000s Fantastic Four. Casting in those 2 movies was very good. Pedro does not look like Reed in comics too much, but this actor has so much range and talent, and I really like him, I am very happy to see him in the role of Mr. Fantastic.

Jessica Alba was not hired for her acting talent. There's a reason she has more or less retired from acting and she's still relatively young. Casting her as Sue Storm was akin to casting Denise Richards as a nuclear scientist in 'The World Is Not Enough'. Unbelievable.

He wont have the moustach and he will be fitter in shape. He has the jawline and the acting chops. (The Mandalorian showed that) Paramount nailed the earlier Kirby/ Lee era of wholesome /family stroylines from the comics! I hope Disney's version is more adult themed for as story plot goes.

I was against ''Redro Rascal'' and all this chronic, ''flatulencial fancasting'' ever since the rumors started to kick in. I liked Krasinski and a few others but not the overall craziness about it. Now all I care about is to watch a good movie with quality storytelling, quality writing, quality everything, a movie worthy of its characters history and legacy. I grew up reading FF comics, they're my favorite superhero team of all time, I mean they're the freakin' founding members of the Marvel Universe ! Mr Pascal will always be compared to the Krasinski cameo but people will forget about it if the movie turns out to be a huge hit.. I hope this flick gets filled with the wonder, energy and excitement about mankind's future that the 60s era brought when this comic was first published. The Fantasticar should look like a bathtub for a while before they change it. Hopefully Willie Lumpkin will be a part of the film looking like Willie Lumpkin, a Stan Lee/Jack Kirby cgi cameo/reference would be more than neat too..
