***** Have you read Ultimate Spider-Man? Written by Bendis and is some of the best comic book writing I've seen. Highly recommend it since I've got all 22 volumes lol.

It was rushed simply because they wanted their all new all different universe. I don't see it like Crisis on Infinite Earth. DC does stuff differently. They write the storyline, then try to fix the consequences. Example : Flashpoint Paradox, creating the New 52. Marvel however, aimed with this one to create a new universe at the end. The story was built for that purpose only, which made it seem flawed (opposite to Crisis, even though it basically has the same goal). They didn't do it like they used to with Civil War, House of M, or Spider Verse. Even though those were quickly somehow erased from the continuity, at least the story were good while they lasted. I hope to see more like these, I personnally don't care that much about consequences. If there are some and they are handled well, it's a plus, but not necessary.

Shadow Gabriel But it's sad that a story involving every character from 2 of the biggest and most important Marvel Universes had so few payouts in the end. If you need to read the F4 to feel the consequences, it's pretty poorly written (especially since they cancelled the F4 during the events to stop the press around the movie). Events like Civil War for exemple involved every body AND had consequences for everybody. From the epilogue Death of Captain America, to the amazing Back in Black Spidey arc... That's why I'm still waiting for the All new Black Panther to come to my country. Hopefully we'll see consequences there too.

MrQuelquDeux It wasn't a story about the whole universe (like Civil War). It was a story about a god and a father. And they didn't cancel the F4 books because of the movies. There are still 6 or 7 books with the mutants. They canceled F4 because after Hickman left the book it wasn't that good and it didn't sell.

Shadow Gabriel Which was a perfect reason to stop free advertissement for the movie. Trust them if you want, but it would be pretty blind to not acknowledge the evidence. The movie definitly played a role in the cancellation. Without mentionning that the Secret Wars are absolutely about the whole universe. Come on. There's litteraly every Marvel character ever involved. This to my knowledge is definitely the biggest Marvel event to date. You can top "every Marvel character ever", you can't top "every Marvel character ever twice". God and father are involved. They are not the center. You just said it was the F4 (which can be argued). Don't change your statement. And to conclude, I'll just say that it doesn't matter who the story is about. You can't deny that it still involves a huge number of characters that had very few payouts aside from their canon death (before their reincarnation). Even if the story isn't about them, Marvel released a SHIT TON of tie ins, it's for a good reason. They are still part of the story. And sadly their story isn't involved.
