Flipping the dial to represent Electra resurecting just made me so unexplainably happy! Such a simple yet brilliant production idea. Love it so much.

9:55 The usual rules for zones still apply and in addition to that he can hit up to 5 spaces away regardless of the zone. So if a zone were 7 spaces long and he'd be standing on one side he can still hit a character on the other side.

They did a good job of picking marvel characters that slot in with the rest of the unmatched roster really easily.

It is beyond impressive that the Unmatched series manages to include consistent, high-quality art for each and every character, that is created specifically for this game. While other more "premium" products like Marvel Champions use re-hashed art from comic book panels that only loosely represents the described action, and what's more, is often extremely low quality.

I've been waiting for these to come out to finally jump into the Unmatched system. I'll pick up the redemption box - can't say no to Ghost Rider and Moon Knight!

I’ve been looking forward to the Hell’s Kitchen set for a while, but this overview shows that the Saint’s Row set is going to be better than I expected!

I have only played Cobble and Fog, but it was a lot of fun. I'm glad they chose to go with all street level characters on these sets. i might consider picking these up at some point.

I picked up Redemption Row and am loving the complexities of Moon Knight. I passed on Hells Kitchen because I don't have the connection to the characters that I have with most of the other unmatched sets however will probably pick it up because of this video Bullseye and Elekra's mechanics seem too fun!

I love Unmatched and have been keenly waiting on new sets. I'm not a Marvel fan though and am finding myself starting to get annoyed at Marvel's saturation in all elements of culture. *However* I in no way want to spoil anyone else's fun! I just wanted to lodge my vote for new non-Marvel Unmatched sets in the gutter! :)

You're in luck then! There's quite a range of upcoming Public Domain characters slated for Unmatched. Houdini, Genie, Shakespeare himself(??!), Rosie the Riveter in a mech suit, and more!

These look awesome! I can't wait for the other 2 sets that they mentioned a while back. 1 was suppose to have Squirrel Girl, Ms. Marvel, and I think Spider Gwen. The other set was suppose to be dealing with Black Panther and Wakanda. I hope they do more sets like this. Also, I can't wait to see the boards for these sets.

Here are the other two upcoming sets: - The Teen Spirit pack focuses more on some of the younger members of the Marvel universe, Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, and Cloak and Dagger. - For King and Country pack features Black Widow, Black Panther, and the Winter Soldier.

Thanks for this video. I'm a big fan of Unlatched but I don't care for Marvel. This video gave me exactly the information I wanted to know about all the characters. I'm not going to buy these sets, but was curious about there special effects.

How do You counter Elektra? Or which other character works better against her? An strategy against her works as well 🙏

Not taking Damage is how winning combat on defense normally works. The second part is just reiterating that Luke Cage has 2 Defense when he's attacked, even if he doesn't play a card.

Not extremely familiar with Marvel and I also got funkoverse confused with unmatched. Zee referred to this video in another video, and I came here, expecting a special deck just for Gordon Ramsay! 😆 Now I really want to see a deck builder that has Ramsay as a playable character!

Other than range attacks Bullseye seems the weakest and least interesting. Overall loving the art and hyped for Moon Knight!

He seems pretty interesting to me. His unique long range attacks seem like they’ll make him a target and a lot of his cards cover him being hit multiple times in a row, which might end up being bad for the attacker.

Shame all/most(?) Unmatched sets based on licence won't be available in Europe. Shame, shame!

That's not accurate. They will be available in distribution to European retailers.

@@RestorationGames so there is some misinformation here. A week ago or so Polish distributor announced IP sets won't be available (like Bruce Lee, InGen and raptors (which is one of the most popular in tournaments so quite a good set to own) and probably more).

@@IamSalva thanks for the info. Sounds a bit ridiculous. I hope all new sets (Marvel included) will have this issue sorted. It's nicer to have all sets consistent in the same language.

This is coming from somebody that has all the unmatched product minus Buffy: Unmatched is lacking as a game. For years I couldn’t put my finger on it but I think what makes it appealing is it’s art style coupled with its luck and strategy components. Art wise it excels but strategy and luck components are equally lacking. A game that I want to be good but I feel that Restoration Games should have spent more time restoring and less money in advertising.

I think Unmatched works very well as a light popcorn game where you play the cards you have when you have them, because they’re fun. I *also* think Unmatched works as a game where you each know each other’s decks and mitigate luck of the draw by playing cautiously and being very selective about when to drop cards (and predict when your opponent will drop theirs). Maybe one of its flaws is that the second option isn’t obvious enough.

Agreed, I bought volume 1 and a couple of expansions and I really wanted to like it but it just fell flat... It looks so good though :p

@@brianbett9196 I second this, the game gets way better once you know all the cards in your deck and the cards in your opponent’s deck and vice versa. The game suddenly gets way more strategic as you play around each other and try to bait each other out etc. However it does require a bit of effort which sadly some people don’t want to put in.
