Marvel vs Capcom is definitely the best of the vs series.

Perhaps that's why Venom wasn't in MVC3 Cause a 3D model changing so fluently would be easier to do as a 2D sprite

Team Tongue (Morrigan and Venom) was my favorite team in this game. I'm sure Morrigan approves of that Venom combo you were doing. Just cover them in sticky stuff and then overwhelm them with tentacles.

Hyper Megaman is a fusion of Megaman and Rush. It and the Megaman character in this game are from Megaman 8. Technically, Hyper Megaman isn't actually a thing--it's Hyper Bass, who's like a Final Boss-type deal, but I'm sure Capcom was just like "Well since Bass and Treble can fuse, why can't Megaman and his robot dog!?" So yeah. Now you know. I was starting to think that MegaMan 8 was just a black spot in history lol

MvC holds a special place in my heart for being my first arcade fighter ever. Those supers, man, they blew my freaking mind.

MvC1 was the game that blew my mind the most when I saw it. Great visuals, amazing looking supers and a badass roster. The fact that something like this exists is still crazy even today.

Man this game holds a very special place in my heart, really. The variety of characters, assists made it more fun for me. And watching Strider's Ouroboros for the first time just blew my mind.

Funny thing is as awesome as Venom's sprite is, he is a shortcut sprite the way War Machine is. While War Machine is an obvious retool of Iron Man, Venom is an extensive retool of Sabretooth. If you take the two and put them side by side you can see it. To save time they basically built Venom over top of Sabretooth so they had a reference for his animations.

If I remember correctly, I think the character in question is Morrigan. Some Lilith-related antics, I think, but I don't remember what specifically.

Playing this game as a kid and choosing Venom and Wolverine and not having a clue of what I was mashing. I can now appreciate the awesomeness of the venom bite combo.

I would like to see Maximilian Dood do Capcom's Cross Over Legacy actually. That means he'll need to cover Capcom vs. SNK: Millenium Fight 2000, Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millenium 2001, and Tatsunoki vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars. The third in that list is my all-time favorite.

My personal favorite series too considering i had no idea what i was doing at the time lol. Was just mashing target combos and having a blast. Get pretty nostalgic just thinking about it :)

I have MvsC 2 on disc for PS2, and will never get rid of it! But on a sad note, I never picked it up digitally on my PS3, nor did I grab MvC Origins when I had the chance. Now that Disney decided to be asses and pull both, my Ps3 fight cab project will have to do without. That hurts my soul. Anyone have them both?

Aw man! This game is my fav out of them all as well :3 Rarely any infinite combos unlike 2 and 3 o-o My mains were always Spiderman and Jin 8D Helped me beat anyone who uses Gold War Machine, Red Venom, and Grey Hulk.

Strider was a terror to play against, since anyone who knew him could yank out 30-50% of your health if you made a mistake. If you used him right, you'd be tearing up people. And that Ouroboros super was just ridiculous.
