Just a few notes here on some rule mistakes. You CAN devour super heroes. It is just usually very very hard to do due to devour attacks having 1 die base + hunger level. Some of the Kickstarter heroes they have teased like Luke Cage has the flavour text in their update post that you have to devour him. With hunger you only take damage if you are ravanous at the end of your turn. If you took damage every time you had to increase hunger above 4 during your turn, any 1 rolled would damage you making zombie mode near unplayble due to RNG. If you where below 4 hunger and you go to 4, then the next action you take are just limited by the hunger action restraints. At the end of the turn of you are at 4 (ravenous) you take damage. Also there IS target priority in melee, unless you have an ability that allows you to ignore target priority you always have to follow it. Heroes - Guards - Specialist / Troopers - Bystanders (must be devoured). You cannot devour a bystander while other eneimes are in the zone unless you have an ability allowing you to explicitly do so. Super Heroes does not grand 5 XP, they give XP equal to their thoughness, so scarlet witch and docter strange only give 3 each. You CANNOT attack bystanders, you have to devour them. I also see a couple of times where there is confusion about hitting things. You do not target anything, you attack the zone itself and afterwards you assign hits to the zone. Same goes for the AI, it attacks the zone and afterwards you assign hits among your heroes in that zone.

Great gameplay! Just played through the tutorial (first zombicide ever) and really enjoyed it while it was pretty simple. Can't wait to get more scenarios done. Couple of rules that I think made it actually harder for you is that 1. The heroes (abominations) only give exp equal to their toughness, not a flat 5. 2. Bystanders don't give any exp unless the scenario says otherwise. 3. You go up in hunger for every hunger symbol you roll during an attack, not just 1 not matter how many you rolled. 4. You're supposed to place the "1" spawn marker wherever the scenario says and then spawn from that location first instead of the bottom left one like you did every round. 5. Range attacks don't do friendly fire like in other zombicides so you could have done some ranged attack without concern for the other zombies. Not sure if any of these would have dramatically changed the game, but it does mean you probably wouldn't have gone up in exp so quickly leading to the threat level to stay lower longer.

We played this mission quite some times too. It definitely is more difficult until you work out some solid strategies to beat it. Definitely a learning experience!

Not sure if someone mentioned this but when killing a super hero. Your xp only goes up by their toughness not 5 like abominations in black plague, and bystanders can only be devoured, also in this game, target priority for melee as well. Super heroes also have 2 actions like specialists. Sorry been watching in chunks so keep editing my comment lol

Just an FYI you cannot attack bystanders you have to devour them. And you can't devour them until you get rid of the shield agents.

If im not wrong there is special rule on this mission that you have to activate spawnpoints after setup (they did not do that)

We limped away with most people having 3 or less HP (and Cap Marvel getting lucky with a heal) but we beat it on the first try. Jumping into the next mission tomorrow!

We played this last night. The changes are very cool, but the heros being zombies and the zombies being shield is very hard to correct when being an avid Zombicide player. I like the changes a lot and fine this version difficult. I played D-pooly!

This mission is a little hard with 6. However, playing just 4 characters it is ridiculously difficult and clearly not "easy" as suggested in the rulebook. Still fun despite inevitable defeat!

Looks like a fun version of Zombicide. I spent more on this Kickstarter than any other. There is no way I will get my money's worth from this game, but I just felt I had to have it all. I have to wait until Wave two to get all my stuff.

Just putting this out there. I’m creating an event deck for Marvel Zombicide. I’ll post on BBG when I’m done. It’s drawn by the first player every round (first player changes every then). What would people like to see? I’ve already done twenty of them. What would improve the experience for you? I already love the game, FYI, just working on fun additions.

Can you devour heros? I don't think the rules say anything about not being able to. Its just risky. This game is amazing by the way

This mission is incredibly difficult I’ve came close when I don’t activate the blue/green spawns until I get the objective bystander don’t take damage from attacks can only be devoured and you can’t hurt fellow zombie hero’s by misses
