This video had me hooked at the 28 Days Later music😄. I haven't tried any of the Zombicide games yet--but really want to. I appreciate discussion on storage and table size needed. Excellent honest review! I haven't purchased a Zombicide game yet due to many of the reviews also stating expansions are necessary to make playing feel complete. For this reason, Zombicide Night of The Living Dead is the only one I'd probably purchase at full price.

You noticed where the theme song came from!! Nice! Still, one of the best openings in a zombie horror movie. 28 Days/Weeks Later was the first movie in which I saw zombie run! I’m glad you enjoyed the review. Some people spent over $600 on this KS. The least CMON could’ve done was include a decent insert. Expansions will definitely help but for those that just bought the core box, they’re out of luck, in my opinion. Also, that table space can become a huge issue. I hope you’ve been well and I’m thankful to see you around!

The miniatures with these games are some of the best I’ve seen. I just got the Sinister Six add-on, and the minis are so good. Really chunky, and brilliantly detailed. I like the minis more than the gameplay!

I want to order Sinister Six. The minis in Marvel Zombies have a lot of detail. The only other game I’ve played that has miniatures with a lot of detail has been Etherfields.

It costs over $200 Canadian for the base set with no promise that the expansions will release commercially anytime soon. I’m gonna pass and hunt down a copy of Black Plague. As much as I love Marvel, this game is just a money sink for an inferior-looking gameplay loop. I did get the “Heroes Resistance” game and had some fun with it, though! In the middle of painting the minis for that. As well, I found an incomplete Zombicide Prison Break (?) at a thrift shop for $1 and I’m using the zombies from that in place of the cardboard ones that come with Heroes Resistance (as well as some extra map tiles to make my own missions) So Heroes Resistance is a great way to get into this series for $40 (especially if you have other zombies from previous games)

Since you’ve already played Heroes Resistance, I think you’re making the right choice. If in the future if the expansions release where you live, then I’d say consider it. For now, I think you’re making the right choice. Smart, what you did with the miniatures!

Nice video! After watching I decided to pick up a copy for myself. I haven’t been disappointed and have even gotten my 5 year old to join me for some games.

It’s a fun game that is going to be made all the better once more content releases for it. Enjoy spending time with your kid. Before you know it, he’ll be all grown up.

Lol! Sometimes I can manage the horde but then if the dice roll badly….it’s over! X-Men Resistance finally let’s us play in hero mode. This added the content I was waiting/looking for. Glad you liked the review!

@@andrewlarking7492 I would say it’s just fine for a 12 year old to play but he may need some help reading the rulebook to fully grasp the rules. Even more specifically, I think that you would enjoy playing with him, as well. Your son would have to play as 4 heroes simultaneously but thankfully, it’s not difficult to handle and track. Marvel Zombies is surprisingly strategic and enjoyable as a whole. Not too complex but not too simplistic, either. It’s a fun time, especially if your son is a fan of Marvel. Hope this helped!

I’ve never played an RPG online with others before. Sounds like a great time! The thing is, my current schedule is unpredictable. If you look at my last upload before this, you’ll notice it took me 3 months to upload a new video. If it wasn’t for that, I would have gladly taken you up for that offer. Maybe my summer schedule will be nicer to me. Thank you for the invite!

Not sure what your issue with the inserts are. All of my stuff fits just fine without any baggies. That said, if you are sleeving, then no, the cards won't fit. However, I don't know to many games that design the storage with sleeved cards in mind. Maybe try not sleeving your cards.

I heard it was an ok game, good for fans of Marvel and Zombicide (naturally). For me, I personally love Zombicide Invader. Aliens in space? Sign me up! Really reminds of the Dead Space video game.

Haven’t played Invaders. Marvel Zombies just needs the upcoming expansions to help spice up the gameplay and add the variety this core box needs. Other than that, good game. I played it this morning and did win but just barely. It’s tough!

It costs a lot of money to make an insert. All that money is going to IP and game content. I'd rather have a good game than an amazing insert and I love me a good insert.

You are misleading people. CMON does have an insert underneath where the minis are for everything. You don't need baggies at all. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b7OEi7t5r9vLeI0.html An unboxing video. About 6 minutes in they show the insert. Why are you telling people something that isn't true?

I sleeve my cards. There is not enough room for sleeved cards. The only way I can store this game with sleeved cards is by using baggies. I don’t win anything by misleading people. It would be misleading to not mention that the insert does not accommodate sleeved cards. Now, if you don’t sleeve your cards then there is no issue and the insert works well.

@SoloBoardGamingKnight you say in the video that it doesn't come with an insert for the other parts at all. You didn't say you don't have room for the insert after you sleeve the cards. Big difference. You make it seem like CMON didn't make an insert for it.

@@kenfrmcape2355 Rewatching the video, I did not specifically mention the sleeved cards (although sleeved cards are shown). To accuse me of misleading people, however, is quite the stretch. Once again, I gain nothing from misleading people. CMON games in general (as stated in the video in generalized terms) tend to have terrible inserts. That is an opinion that is true to me. Whether or not you or anyone else feels the same is a different opinion and that’s okay. If you are happy with the inserts that CMON includes in their games, that’s okay. It’s too bad that out of all the effort I put into making this video, the thing that stands out most is an insert. If CMON would include a useful insert, I would have emphasized it. If CMON does not include a useful insert (which was the case here), I will emphasize it. That is what I do. I show the pros and the cons of the board games I play. Instead of accusing me of misleading people, if you would have just asked why I thought this way, we could have had a genuinely nice conversation (which is how usual comments have worked on this channel). At the end of the day, we are talking about sharing our passion for a common hobby.

@SoloBoardGamingKnight you specifically said in the video "A lack of insert just makes you throw tiles and baggies in the box." You are telling the people that their isn't a insert at all. But that's not true. They do provide an insert. I understand if the insert isn't good once you sleeve cards, ect.. But you make it sound like their isn't one..
