@Dale Hobson please don't misunderstand me. Marvin is my favorite singer of all time. They are playing the vocal track to the the actual song. He sang it beautifully. there were plenty of recording tricks in the 70s. not a knock to marvin but there were punch ins and dubs back then as well.

Either someone managed to go to the considerable effort to isolate Marvin's vocal track from the rest of the mix in the original recording, or someone was able to find the original multi-track tapes and get his vocals clean from the source. Either way, an amazing way to hear a true craftsman of his art.

+‫محمد الهاشمي‬‎ Quite obviously the original vocal track; not even the best engineers can isolate a voice so perfectly from a full recording (although the newest version of Melodyne comes to mind).
@CharliePennellProductions
@CharliePennellProductions 8 жыл бұрын
It's reasonably simple to get a good isolation of an acapella vocal. You can use the original track with an instrumental and phase them together on a separate track. Finding the sweet spot will eliminate the music. Not always perfectly depends on the users quality. But it's possible.

Being new to this and amazed, I wonder too if the tracks are reverse-engineered (but I guess it would be hard to obtain such a quality) or if someone got the studio acapella. Great tracks to discover. This is the 3rd I found. At the splice platform there is bohemian rhapsody.
