Just went to Malaysia last Nov24 and side trip to SG (5days total for solo traveler). Walang tanung tanung ang IO saken kahit isa haha I just provide my passport, boarding pass and departure card and less than 2mins, napicturan na agad ako at may tatak na passport ko. Though may travel history na ko before pandemic.

That budget expense is reasonable and affordable. My question is why the Immigration wants the hotel info and the flight going in and going home. Can any bank in the country exchange pesos to rupiah before travel? I admire your guts to travel alone. Siguro I will feel at ease being with a travel group.. Thanks for the travel info. It is as a proof that you will/have enough money to return to your home country, have enough money during your visit at least by showing your place to stay during your visit in that country. Actually, if you have credit card/debit card with Visa/Mastercard link you can withdraw money from local Bank ATM anywhere in Indonesia. Just make sure to check to your bank how many they charge you to withdraw money overseas. Another way is just take US dollar/ Euro/ Pound sterling for easier exchange.
