Mav, your videos are honestly therapeutic. After a long week, nothing makes me more happy than a fresh or continued adventure that you post here!

Seeing Mav come to your state, and then fish at your fishing spots is surreal.

You have said your getting a little tired of traveling. Your fun to watch and whatever you decide to do, projects on your home etc. I'm sure people will still watch you. It's not just places you go to we like to watch, it's you we like to watch.

Hey, Mav. I just wanted to say that watching through your videos when I'm able to has been very helpful in coping after my grandfather passed 6 and a half months ago. He loved your videos when I showed them to him and we even watched a couple together before he left us, so it's only right to keep watching you to honor both of you. If you're ever in my neck of the woods, I owe you a handshake. Edit: Thank you all for the kind words. My grandfather meant the world to me with how he raised me after I was born. He was just as instrumental in my upbringing as my parents were and it devastated me when I lost him. At least I got to spend time watching great videos before he left us. Cherish who you have, folks. You never know when they'll be gone.

Just a heads up on some cooking tips! Gralic is better as an ingredient later than first, add it about 1min prior to adding the tomatos because diced garlic will over cook fast in just 30s-1min. Also you may find your food tasting rather metallic after you cook tomatoes in cast iron. Thats because the tomatoes and heat will break down the seasoning on the pan.

Someone said this a long time ago and it still rings true. You eat better in your vehicle than most of us do in our houses. Keep on Truckin’

Keep on Goin Mav! How you said in your last video about not being motivated. We all have our turn at feeling low from time to time and it's ok to feel that way. It's good to feel like this as it makes us bounce back a better person and appreciate the little things in life while making us realizing how far we've come!

The uintas is a crazy place. You can never predict the weather and the storms come in and out like nothing. Camp at mirror lake at 10,000 feet and it’s 40° and raining mid august. What a time!

I know we have plenty of cool mountain fishing spots such as this. I just feel lame going up alone. We made eggs in purgatory a few weeks ago using all ingredients from our garden (minus the eggs). It was fantastic! I'd suggest simmering the sauce before adding the eggs and cover for about 5 minutes until the eggs whiten. We also added the basil earlier to simmer it with the sauce!

a friend of mine had a ford ranger with the electronic shift transfer case, he was having a similar problem and it turned out to be corrosion in the connector that plugs into the shift motor on the transfer case, that might be your issue as well with your F150, all in all, still a pretty sweet camp, stay safe out there mav

I must say the Eggs looked 🔥got to be one of the best things I have ever seen you make!

Hey Mav, little tip for you for next time you bust out the fly rod. If you're nymphing, get yourself some indicators (fly fisherman's bobber). The goal is too have the nymph suspended 1-2ft off the bottom. When shore fishing on lakes, or from a boat, I like to do a small but quick retrieve with roughly 10-20 seconds of pause in between. Chironomid and balanced leech patterns are always a good choice but even that prince nymph you had on in the video is solid. Hope this brings you success next time you get out, safe travels!

I love watching your channel. Been a fan of it for awhile. Wish I did stuff like this more often because I love camping. I love Steve Wallis with Stealth Camping too. Would love to go camping with him sometime. A lot has happened in my life not long ago, and I deal with depression, mixed with other mental health disorders. But after losing my SoulDog of almost 13yrs, and then my Mom 3 months later. I have fallen into the deepest, darkness, pit of depression. So much so, that I cannot live without my Mom. She was my rock, and I was hers. I never got to say goodbye because the same month she passed, I tried to commit suicide. Cops found me hanging from a tree, and and the only regret I have is worrying my Mom. But what I’m getting at is. Your content is enjoyable to watch, along with Steve. You 2 seem like great guys do go camping with. I’m sure it would never happen, but you do somewhat help me stay out of my own head. So for that, thank you.

Great video Mav. Careful with cooking tomato's or anything acidic in cast iron. It'll leach the seasoning out if you do it too often and you may end up with a metallic taste in your dishes. Once in a while won't be a big deal with a nicely season pan.
