@ Morales Fam, Dr. Berry is a fantastic, brilliant woman, who is in her own lane, just as Dr Welsing (Cress), was. Unfortunately, she never got the recog- ition she deserved. We, as a people, all people, need these wonderful, gifted, women in our lives. God, didn't equip us all the same, therefore, He is no respect of person. Kobe Bryant died today!!!! Enough said. No one knows the day, nor the hour, when that once in a moment happens. 2020 is here, put on your best shoes, cause we are going to church. And we're gonna get ''''''BORN AGAIN,'''John 3:16 Confess Jesus, Share with others, Romans 10:9 & 10. Ask God for one of the Nine Gifts of the Spirit---*1st. Corinthians 12:1-11 Trevor Noah has out done himself again, the man is brilliant, and crazy, purrrrrrrrrrrfect. Love you Dr. Berry, so witty, so deep. so...….

And as a bonus, the clean air and water Act are no longer viable. Trump killed it❌☠️❌ I’ve always believed in non-violence but am lately beginning to doubt this wisdom. We can no longer afford to support “measured changes.” If we are to survive as a species, something else must be done immediately‼️ I was a CO In Vietnam and cost me dearly. Great interview, & really interesting. I'm not American, I've not hears of her before & definitely interested in learning more. She seems like she's made real change happen through her actions and process. I've recently seen Jane Fonda (& also with Lily Tomlin) interviewed about a climate change protest she has started & is rolling out, with Greenpeace. She has been arrested 5 times, recently, & said very similar things - although not quite as eloquently (no disrespect to Jane Fonda, it was more like she was given 1 minute to explain by whatever talk shows I saw her on.) This was a far better interview. Trevor gave Dr Berry time to talk and to get her message across, and she did so in a calm, intelligent way. And said so much more in amongst it all. But both these women must be (roughly?) around the same age; they were both arrested protesting the Vietnam war; and their message is the same - you have to risk something (e.g. arrest)/ really commit to something if you know it's worth it. Could consider the kids around the world risking punishment & suspension from school for striking on Fridays for climate change. And also that Twitter/ social media has enabled that movement to mobilize around the globe. (Will add that when asked about being arrested, Jane Fonda replies, 'Well, I'm white, & a celebrity...' & acknowledges the privilege that gives her.)

This is amazing guidance for young people who want to change things. Perhaps, some of them, for the first time heard how things work. Without a doubt, most of them think that tweeting is a protest. It is not. If you want to protest, do something, go out, do it peacefully, do it patiently. It takes time and it takes effort. And it takes numbers (that's what twitter is for). This is the only way to be heard.

Whoa - When she said the most important issue that needs to be addressed is Climate Change, I almost fell off my chair, and started to applaud loudly! YES! Climate Change. The entire world is threatened, and if we don't address it we deserve what happens. Racial/Gender Inequality is the next big issue - screw the economy- Bah! We can actually fix the economy by attending to those top two things. We must do radically different strategies if we are to survive. Dr. Berry is a treasure!

Totally agree with her. I never really thought about protests that way. I always as a young person just thought there was an agenda, you met, you protested and then whether it happened or not that was it. But if its that powerful to get the people in authority to do something then I think she's hit the nail on the head. Plus she would join a protest for climate change as well. Looks like Greta and others have potential support

Wow your protests are impressive, involving so much as the country, getting a president to give up on a FIFTH term (would be dictator?) And many other apparently corrupt people to resign. Anda majority boycotting the presidential election. Are you any closer to what you want for your govt?

@@wordzmythright, the protests are peacefully and peacefully , duration of the protests didn't and won't matter untill the gaols are fulfilled . Mostly Fridays for all people old and young .. some students goes on Tuesdays ... No stopping till they all go away .

@@MounirAbderrahmaniI admire the commitment of the Algerian people. It would be great if Hasan Minhaj could do an episode on your peaceful and committed protests for Patriot Act. But he needs to do one on Kashmir first.

Too many (younger) people think that protesting is wrong or even illegal.

I dont like protests because of how the police act. In the heat of the moment police easily mistake suspects, they just point fingers and will charge at you, no questions asked. They nearly got a friend of mine that way who was actually trying to fend off a guy trying to attack a officer. Its something I have seen repeatedly happen, they mistake your moves as a attack or they mistake you for someone else and they will bust you up good while arresting you as well.

Why must you force someone to do their job? Imagine if it was like that for everyone. Bc they don't have to be held accountable until their time in office is up. What a system

To my black ppl in the back stop singing "we shall overcome someday" because we not...start fighting back! Singing this song does not give us justice in America.
