Merry Christmas!! This is a few hours late, but this is a Secret Santa present for Rachel! As soon as I saw your list, I knew that I had to edit these two! I don't know if this is exactly what you had in mind, but I hope you like it! (I also used a few scenes from Merlin, hope thats okay!)
Story:
Giuliano meets Mary right after she marries Francis. They immediately like each other. He later saves her life when some men attempt to kidnap her. After that, they become closer and eventually fall in love. Francis treats him well because his own mother is a Medici and because he saved Mary's life. But the Pazzi are trying to make an alliance with France and Giuliano's friendship with Mary could jeopardize that. When she decides to return to Scotland, she asks Giuliano to come with her. Once in Scotland, Mary realizes that her position is precarious and that she needs a strong marriage to make her situation safer. She starts to push Giuliano away, which he is understandably upset about. Mary selects Henry Stuart, Lord Darnley, as her new husband. He quickly grows suspicious of her relationship with Giuliano, especially once Mary announces that she is pregnant. Darnley (and Mary) are both sure that the child is Giuliano's. Darnley's jealousy eventually leads him to have Giuliano killed. When Mary dies, they are reunited in the afterlife.
