Our trip to Mary Jane Thurston State Park was awesome. It was their Fall Festival and Trick or Treat weekend. It was also their Apple Butter Festival in Grand Rapids Ohio. We had a great time there. We highly recommend this campground.

Wow what a fun weekend the festival looked like fun! Looked like a nice campground. Its so much fun swinging im going to do that the next park we visit.

Hey! Here I am! Visiting your channel! Subbed and looking forward to doing some binge watching of your videos. Great review of the campground and surrounding services. I have only been to Ohio once...well, twice really. I travelled via Amtrak to Florida with my 2 youngest and my then 78 year old mom from Washington State...and back again. I remember it being a very pretty area!

Traveling Buckeyes Hoping to be able to do more long term trips starting next year. My youngest graduates this coming June and will hopefully be self sufficient soon after thst😉😋

I wanted to go to Mohican this weekend but every one of the 221 camp sites were taken as its Halloween camp out this and next weekend.

It's almost impossible to get spots on a Halloween weekend unless you book months in advance.

Haha you know it! The weather was perfect for fires, we had many of them over the long weekend. It was one of the biggest festivals we have ever been to, so many cool things to see. Thanks for watching!

susan horvath Hello, Thank you so much for watching our channel. The 2019&2020 have the same floor plan. They have changed a few things like interior color and the stoves have a glass front now. Looks like a nice park and that you had a great time. Is there electric sites only? Also what week In October were you there? Looks like alot of fun activities. Thanks for your video you do a great job. P.s. we bought the blackstone griddle but we do have to purchase the quick connect hose.

We really enjoyed this little park. Yes they are all electric only. The sites by the river have great views. Not sure what the date was. With the Apple Butter festival and the Halloween activities it was a fun filled weekend!! I hope you enjoy your Blackstone as much as we do! Thanks so much for watching!

We stay here a lot through out the summer. The wife and I love to camp. One major issue, when it rains hard, the Maumee river will over run the camp grounds. Also, when the river thaws from Winter. It over flows, and floods the camp ground...April is pretty much a washout. Problem/solution: why not spend some good tax payers $$$ and build a high enough retaining wall along the bank.

Yes the river is an issue there. We were lucky when we were there it was pretty dry. They definitely need to do something with the water problem. Enjoy your camping trips and thanks for watching.

@@TravelingBuckeyes you're welcome. To make a brief follow up....my wife and I have only camped at MJT, and Maumee State Park...it sure looks to be a financial lop sided dispersement of state Park funds. Wonder why that is?
