We have all been this woman at some point. Accused of something either true or untrue. Jesus never asked if she did commit adultery; he knew the answer. He wasn't there to accuse her but to show mercy and love. We, as sinners, must take the accept Christs mercy and love through the act of reconciliation and penance. The sacrament of confession is truly so important.

Jesus loves everyone, literally everyone. We are all sinners, no one is perfect. We cant judge people because of their sins, because we ourselves are a sinner.
@danadanai31674 жыл бұрын
Bryan Fury Right. All humans are God's children, He loves all of us. Jesus does allow "Righteous Judgments", which means when you see someone committing a sin, and they do not know it, you must let them know it's a sin against God. Bc if you don't, it's like if u see someone commit a crime, and you don't stop them, then you will also be held accountable. When God says, "Judge not, or you will be judged", He means, if you say "Judge" someones fate, or punish them with death bc of their sin, what the Pharisees tried to do with Mary Magdalene, then you are trying to take God's place in the judgment process, and it is not our job, only God's job. We mortal sinful humans do not have the right to take any ones life.

The questions were to try and trip Him up. First miracle performed: water into wine. Although this is great r/t a scene of such a Bible study for the purpose of something men would stone A woman for the exact same for appearances sake and punishment for their behavior is "dramatic" to some I don't agree. It is applicable to the viewer like music, colors, sound, etc. It is good one. Jesus losss His cool one time. this moment in the film is beautifully , and the film itself is incomparable and heavy, it's impossible to watch without tears, this is Mel Gibson's best film, although believers forbid watching it "as they count it as the rapture of death " of Jesus' death!

This is a false story ... This woman with anyone did adultery ... Where is the adulterer Man? If Jesus had ruled an adulterous woman by stoning, what would the accusation be against him? The story was created by Jews and the Gospel was not written by Jesus' disciples

@@nedalikloub9790 why do you think this is a false story? A woman would be much easier to catch and the society at the time supported a patriarchal structure. Also the disciples weren't learned men. They would not have written it.

I really like this scene. I especially like where the woman reaches out to Jesus feet and he looks at her with soft gentle look and lifts her from the ground. There is expectation in her eyes . And there is mercy with Jesus. ☺️
