I was there last year too!!! When were you there? I went just for a day-June 23, 2022. My awesome taxi driver said she knew the pastor and wife of the church where revival was so she took me there, however, they were away for the day and I didn't get to go in! But it was so cool to be there and see...

The most powerful testimony I have ever heard in my 40+ yrs. as a Christian. Never heard of the Hebrides Revival and Donald Trumps connection, thru the Isle of Lewis, until now. God had a plan to make this man the President of the most powerful nation in the world. God bless the USA and send revival to the Christians that they may pray for spiritual awakening in this great country.

Dear Dafydd This dear Mary has also encouraged me too. I did some research and found that she has died in 2010 and her dear husband Colin in 2009. Together they preached many messages on revival and Colin was principal of the Faith Mission Bible College in Edinburgh for about 17 yrs. Praise the Lord. May He receive all glory as He is stirring up the hearts of men and women and boys and girls to follow Him. Let us do the same and tell His glorious gospel message.

You would not say that the demons who believe and tremble are converted, this I already know. But is there biblical clarity on that concept. I appreciate your example of the prodigal son, are you saying that he was "converted" when he was away from his father, but not saved until he returned home?

We just have to listen to the Holy Spirit. The problem with Christendom is that people are following humans. And the " tares," are in the pulpit. Now what good did your wise crack do for anyone??? Love is not rude . Love is not easily offended keeps no record of wrong, believes all things, Don't blame the leaders. If you need to repent then do it. Don't wait for a repentance train. JaSco ‘demonstrate your memory-verse abilities....e.t.c.’ Is there perhaps a touch of the green-eyed monster here? As a fellow Scot who knows the Hebridean people, I can tell you that they are most certainly not given to a show or outbursts of emotion and she was most definitely NOT ‘playing to the audience.’ Rather, to the best of her ability she was trying to convey to you how she was feeling in the hope you might see and hear and feel and know the conviction of the Holy Spirit upon a soul. What a pity JaSco that you missed it all.

I think she meant her testimony would focus on lifting up the Lord. She grew up speaking Gaelic, so why would it bother you if she sang in Gaelic? I found her humble and giving God the glory.

I think you can learn a lot from her.
