In 1872 Mary Todd Lincoln visited Devil’s Lake and Baraboo after she had heard of the natural beauty of lake while “taking the waters” in Waukesha. She was most likely the first former first lady to visit Sauk County and while she found the lake enchanting she was not as impressed with the accommodations at the lake and decided to stay in town. Listen to the life and times of Mary Todd Lincoln as she tells of her life with "My Mr. Lincoln."

Wonderful portrayal: always "felt" Mary Ann Todd; spent many hours in church rectory built on site of her birth house and my Dad's home was upthehill behind her girlhood home (Lexington,Ky).

I just saw this for the first time this afternoon. It blew me away! Jessica Michna had me believing that she was, indeed, Mary Todd Lincoln. She spoke in the manner in which I would expect Mary to speak. Great job! Great Presentation! Great actress! Enjoyed this so much!

This presentation was so well-done by the lady portraying Mary Todd Lincoln; she really did seem to be the First Lady. I had read many different accounts/stories about Mary Todd Lincoln, some of them were not very flattering. This account was eye-opening and made her much more human than any other I've heard, read and seen. I think she was a good First Lady.
