I work at makeup forever and the fluffy side that you used is for medium coverage and touch up during the day. And the soft side with the logo offers high coverage :)

It’s also best to combine it with the Ultra HD Foundation :p

@@Poisondime16 hi hi, from what I know we’re trying to go in a cleaner direction but improving every formula from the previous products :) like the previous compact had talc but this one has a new trio blur complex (so three different secret powders) that improved much better than the previous compact. And also going for a more sleek design with the packaging:)

@@kikualdan I'm glad I stocked up on the old formula as it was among the VERY few 'fungal acne safe' foundations out there. The new formulation technically still is, but it contains more comedogenic ingredients than before, likely also why it's more 'blurring' and less oily-skin friendly.

I’m so sad that they discontinued the first version! I found my perfect shade and fell in love with it just last year! I would have stocked up if I had known… 😔 Thanks for your review ❤

The first ingredient, synthetic fluorphlogopite, is actually synthetic mica. Some pros for the synthetic form are that mining is not needed to extract it, and it’s purer than natural mica. Mining has environmental and human consequences of course, so I do prefer to see the synthetic in products. I was really expecting this to be a home run based on how it went on! Perhaps as a powder layer over the DM Yummy Skin balm would work better. Thanks for sharing your wear test results! ❤

I think you look more radiant/glowing in the final check-in than oily. But I can imagine how it might feel more oily than it looks.

Why would they change something “Great” and bring new but not so good products in the market? First Dior, then MUFE, i don’t like things changing for worse. Maybe they’ll realise after few months when sales don’t match as the previous versions of their OG foundations.

I have been using all types of makeup. I just got the is product in wrong color but wow did I get compliments on the way my skin looks. Folks thought it was my skin. I have lily skin and this held it’s own where my oil and the makeup just matched except the color. I need a bit more colors for black women.

Thanks for the review Maryam... I think this will be good for dry skin girls like myself since my oils take all 5-8 hours maybe more before my skin starts looking just dewey...it looks like a beautiful foundation so I will have to try out & see... hopefully its not too dry on initial application guess I will have to find out... until your next review!

@@MaryamMaquillage well that is why I am saying it looked OIly AF on your skin & your pores looked really big because it was obviously not doing the job for Oily AF skin so hence for dry skin I am saying it might work better... I am not trying to be a jerk about it I am simply saying lady.

It doesn’t work as a one and done for me. But I’ve been using it on the perimeter of my face to set my foundation.

This was one of those “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” products. I feel like they should of just changed the packaging because it is very aesthetically pleasing. I never wore this as a one and done product, just to set my under eyes. Idk I’m not that interested

what is a good primer to use with this foundation/powder foundation in general?? ( i have oily/shiny skin)

i love makeup forever shine control primer ❤ i use a tiny amount all over my face. i only smooth it down my nose and everywhere else i warm up between my fingers before i tap it into my cheeks, forehead and chin. it’s the only primer ive used that is 100% matte right off the bat and ive used a loooot of matte primers

The original one has Talc, but it’s also longer lasting. Sadly they discontinued it

The worst thing it oxidizes like crazy!! For me the colour changes a lot after 2 hours!! And it’s very heavy on the skin.. very disappointing.. the older version was way better
