I’ve done this style quite often however not this method. I usually unravel each pirate then twist it. Does your hair poke out after doing them this way ? Sometimes mine would peek through depending on what gel I use and how long I keep them in.

This is definitely my next style BUT what does the back look like? How narrow are the corn rows? Are you crotcheting only on the rows or alao in between as needed? Very nice style. Also...you're braiding first in the font, right? Just making sure. Thank you.
