Maryland: 1 Day in Baltimore, MD - Travel Vlog | What to Do, See, & Eat!
For state #9 in our “50 States in a Year'' series, we’re in Maryland! More specifically, Baltimore! We had 24 hours to explore as much of the city as possible and we did just that! We started the day in the cool, quirky neighborhood of Hampden before making our way to the historic Fells Point. From there, we went to Lexington Market, one of the oldest food markets in the country, and had the best crab cake of our lives at Faidley’s! After stuffing ourselves at lunch, we took a sunset stroll along the Inner Harbor before finishing the night out with dinner at McCormick & Schmick’s with some of our Baltimore friends that we met at Oktoberfest in Munich back in 2019! We absolutely loved our time in Baltimore and hope to be back sooner than later to eat our body weight in crab meat!

We only spent an evening in Baltimore, and only really got to experience the Inner Harbor. We went there because of this video! We got in too late to go to Faidleys, but Phillips at the inner Harbor was awesome! The USS Constellation was one of the highlights of the area! Such great history. We also had multiple Orange Crush drinks, one of my new favorites! Thanks for helping make our quick Baltimore trip a memorable one.

Thanks for the love, and I hope you had a great time in Baltimore. I fell in love with the city when I lived there in the '90s. It ain't always pretty, and parts of it are gritty, but it's a city with a lot of history and a lot of heart. There is just enough to do there, with its variety of different neighborhoods, but not enough to be overwhelming.

Hi Matt and Natt my name is Chris and I’m from Pennsylvania and have been to the Baltimore harbor a couple of times but never knew about Fells Point.I’m going to Baltimore for a concert in late October and it’s on a Sunday night and going to explore on Sunday and Monday but thank you for the heads up that a lot of Things are closed Monday’s there so I know to do it on Sunday.Great job on your you tube videos

the B roll of that mallard duck at Inner harbor was my favorite part, or maybe Matt's genuine disappointment about the dinosaur paddle boats idk, I cant choose. Regardless, " I'm no crab cake connoisseur." is definitely the quote of the day.

I used to live in Hamden....it was nothing like it is now,it was an absolute hole. Literally 5&dimes all the way down that colorful strip. And the LOVELY underground Hamden mall lol...both sides were junk shops....we would just go up to the rotunda

Hey guys I enjoyed the video of Baltimore I live in Baltimore name is Mike next time you guys are here you guys got to check out the Cathedral on Cathedral Street one of the oldest cathedrals in the country and you guys got to try Phillips Seafood which is down there at the Inner Harbor and there's so much more you guys a missed so many cool things to do in Baltimore I know you guys are only here for one day the next time you're here look me up I'll give you a tour of everything

Baltimore looks amazing but what was the traffic like and parking? I'm the one who drives so always like to check on parking and traffic. Would love to check out the market and the harbor. We LOVE seafood!! I know this was taken just about a year ago, so I will say Happy Birthday Natalie and hope I'm close to your birthday! Thanks for the video and I need to put Baltimore on our bucket list!

Aww thanks for the birthday wishes! You are 100% right.. my birthday was in March! So you were right on! 😂😜🎉 yea parking & driving was a bit of a pain but it always is in bigger cities. Kind of the trade off but you can walk to a good amount of stuff! Yea, Baltimore was a real nice surprise!

Haha this Baltimore girl recently ordered a crab cake in Tennessee and couldn't believe what they served me. It was more like a flat salmon cake full of breading. It was nasty. I should open a Maryland carb cake food truck down there. 😁
