Demon Slayer is an amazing anime . The main goal of an anime is to entertain . That can happen through the story , through the fights , through the animation through the hypes ect . Entertainment can happen through many things in an anime . The story is indeed mid , but the anime overall is peak because it's peak entertainment and that's what it's for

It had the potential to be a lot better to be fair. The writer rushed the manga because she was having family issues. But animation wise Im still gonna 100% watch it for the fight scenes

She's not wrong though. I've read the Manga and watched some episodes. The combat and art is where it's at, the story in itself is pretty mid at best. Also, Cowboy Bebop for the win 💪
