Welche Loks hatten sie da in der Zeit?

The "Ablaufsteuerrechner" controls the shunters on the hump yards by radio, giving them the shunting speeds, setting the points for the rolling goods wagons and regulating their speed with retarders, 26 "Balkengleisbremsen" and 112 rubber retarders being available. 112 wagon transporters (Beidrückanlagen) move the loose wagons onwards within the sidings.

Coupling in the US is different from how it works in Europe. In the US Cars geht connected just by pushing them towards each other. This means that if you push a train over the hump you need someone pulling the pin to uncouple right after the car got over the peak of the hump and gravity hat put that gar into pull mode again. In Europe buffers and coupler are separate things. A string of cars can be pushed together without automatic coupling. So in fact the uncoupling is done before a train gets pushed over the hump. That's why you don't see anyone doing the uncoupling. Downside of the European way is that you need to have the guys coupling the cars together instead.

@@qora01m in the next 5 years they will introduce a fully automated coupling system, that will be far superior to any automated coupling system. Trains will probably be 3 or 4 times faster, railyards can reduce stuff massively and increase productivity for just one freight train you will just need 1 to 2 persons. the average speed for freight trains is currently very slow and it takes a lot of manuell labour

Hallo Sönke, vielen Dank. Ich habe für Videos immer ein paar kleine Stative dabei. Wo große verboten sind nehme ich Klemmstative ans Geländer oder selbstgebaute Magnetstative für Metallflächen :)
