As a single mom of two adolescents I am so in masculine energy most of the time(solving problems,fixing things,providing everything for them,making things done)….I almost forgot how nice is to be a woman in all her feminine energy…and almost 11 years passed by me without considering this…WOW what a clarification I got from this video

Sucks. I have to work on my people pleaser….it’s like I’m stuck in the same cycles over again with friends and all the romantic relationships. What John said is true because I’ve experienced it so many times through my autopilot uncontrollably behaviors.Ive never felt like people really put a lot of efforts into me. It’s just hard to stop over-giving….
@juneelle370
@juneelle370 2 жыл бұрын
I’ve just discovered ~ sometimes what we think is masculine energy is actually frustrated feminine energy… so instead of it being wood (masculine energy)… we were stuck stagnant in water (feminine energy)… because the wood elements of us (desires) for ourselves have been shamed out of us… so the focus is totally on others emotions… giving up way too much of ourselves. So it’s like a misplaced mother/motherbear energy (water energy) … not giving from the overflow but depleting ourselves… so essentially drowning in water without wood to direct it… even if we are mainly water energy, it becomes sick without wood energy … a ship to ride atop it or a bridge or channels to make water create energy/electricity… allowing water to move for ourselves through our wood energy… I just realize what I though had been some “wood” energy I needed to make smaller…it was actually water energy because it was all my wood qualities that had been shamed out of me… So amazing how John said wood energy is desire while water energy knows about needs and that water energy will be frustrated without enough ability to fulfill one’s needs with wood energy! So when men feel wood energy, they want to fulfill desires for themselves… those can include other people-and helping to fulfill their needs! So the difference between mother bear energy and wood energy protection for example is--is it for others or ourselves? That’s how I now know my overgiving was coming from the destruction of my own wood--the kind of giving that allows and fulfills my own desires versus the mothering overgiving that is to the point of having no needs for ourselves - to the point of depletion 😂🤣any of this make sense? lol I’m still feeling/thinking through it

Wow!!! I was surprised when he said on average women take about 9 years to bond again deeply with a man... Well it's been 7 years, did a lot of work on myself to trust men again... though I still find it very hard to trust again and just fall again for men, especially in these ages of online dating where we are seen as a commodity.

So far, all the guys (50+ age group) I’ve gone out with are too much on their feminine side! They ask me what I’m wearing, they let me know what they’re eating, etc. How am I supposed to be feminine when the guy is more feminine than me?

My guy and I are both in our 40s (not married). When we aren't together, we will send each other pictures of what we are eating; especially if it is a new dish for me and something I like that he has cooked before, and he will ask me what I am wearing but it is more in a sexual tone to open a conversation. He is all testosterone, and he likes my femininity.

nowadays guys who consider themselves successful usually wants to have a partner of equal success... In another video he talks about guys way is to have more money, house, car material stuff for them to feel successful, whereas women doesn't need to have that level of success to score a guy... Coz John said.. Guys need to feel successful when his around the lady.. So the lady has to build up the feeling for the guy... Whereas for lady she is looking to connect, if her emotional and financial needs are meet, then she might consider him as a provider and someone to connect to by talking n sharing... nowadays guys are wanting the girls to be successful to even consider her if the guy was successful too.. Of course not all but majority, so is it because a strong lady doesn't need guy as much so he can breath better and are guys now more stingy cox if lady has her own money then he doesn't need to spend his own on her?

This was a good podcast. I didn't agree with everything like the claim that our spirit form is supposed to be androgynous as he didn't clarify how he came to that conclusion and offered no evidence what-so-ever for it (therefore I concluded for myself that this was a mere figment of his imagination that he just inserted in order to make his point appear more valid...even though it was completely unnecessairy) but for the most part, it was very easy to listen to and helped to put things into a better perspective.

Unfortunately at this age, men who are single are single for good reason. It's like thrift store shopping, it looks good at first and then when you look closer it's ripped or dirty. There are tons of good men out there, they are all married or taken and their women are not letting go.

So the brain part of feeling lost emotion and pain is bigger in women, what's the benefit of having this part bigger than guys... Whereas the guy brain part "solving and interaction" is bigger than lady is useful for survival.. So what the benefit of the bigger emotional susceptible part of the lady brain? Also can lady have the same size of the guy brain part "solving issue"? Can these parts be developed thru practice? And can the lady brain part be minimised... Since not much use of it?

I am an introvert and often struggle with knowing what to talk about. Add to that I am a stay at home mom so much that I even would talk about is my kids, but that’s not good all the time either. My husband is an extrovert who loves to talk and usually has a million stories to tell from his past when I don’t even remember much of mine because of years of abuse that I went through. We’ve been married 2 years, and I feel like we have both bonded well, so is this an absolute? Should I be concerned since we aren’t doing it the way Dr. Gray is saying to?
