Try removing the top of the driver side air filter housing and filter element and you will have a straight shot access to the oil filter. Much easier and cleaner.

Great video! Thank you! Just bought a 2017 Levante and might need to change my own oil as well...$500 is too.much....have you done brakes or anyone else here who has a video?

Thanks Steve, you saved me a lot of time after putting this together, GREAT job! Socket extension used to remove the filter using the 27mm socket, looked like something around an 8" extension?

Do you know the thread size of oil drain plug? I’m thinking about replace it with a ez or fumoto drain plug for easy oil change.

I just got drenched in oil too. That drain hole is way too big. Gotta be a better way.

That filter is similar in the chrysler 3.6 pentastar.

Pennzoil, Platinum Euro SAE 5W-40 Full Synthetic Motor Oil

I probably should have watched this before I did mine...it wouldnt have made any difference in the gawd awful mess I made, but I wouldn't have been kicking myself so hard for it...

Is there a way to reset the service interval counter on the dash?

Not sure other than the very expensive Leonardo Diagnostic tool. Service light will only come on every 2 years. Maserati/Ferrari Service center will reset the counter for $100. I suspect an Indy will do for less.
