What is the best brand of orange juice?

I am from Louisiana and years ago I went on a fishing trip to Florida. While there I met a orange grove owner and he gave me a crate of oranges that were ripened on the tree. It ruined me. No oranges from the store or road side vendors even come close to the taste of fresh oranges!

Who else watched to see if their orange juice was #1?

I only drink Simply Orange and all their juices. Once I tasted this juice, I never looked back. ,

I've tried all of them. And ironically have no complaints about any of them since you essentially get what you pay for. The most artificial and processed drinks are the cheapest while the most natural and pure drinks are more expensive. Each had a time and a place and a role to enjoy them. During my lazydays as a kid when I would binge on junkfood I would always go for the Tampico or Sunny D or Orange Soda. As I got older and matured and more health conscious, I started looking for orange juices that had the most nutritional value and best taste. Now the cheap juices all taste like orange syrup LOL.

When I was in Florida, I bought juice oranges at Publix and made my own. In their produce section, they had an automatic juicing machine that sliced the orange and squeezed them. That was fun to watch. I never bought bottled juice again.

Floridas Natural has always been my favorite. Simply Orange is good too.

Not surprised about the top two picks. Those are the ones I always go for. Kind of weird that such a good part of the list was filled by things that aren't even orange juice though.

Florida Natural has been my "go-to" orange juice for years. I like the idea it supports American Growers and since I live in Florida that is a way to support our local farmers. Happy Trails

I'm from Florida I grew up with an orange tree in my backyard I won't drink anything else. I have tried others and they're nasty. Florida's natural is simply the best orange juice there is.

I agree, Florida’s Natural is #1. You should visit their museum in Lake Whales, Florida. It’s fun, free and the cup of oj is wonderful 🍊.

High Pulp Simply Orange is my #1, but will drink Florida's Natural OJ if I can't find my main.

I love pulpy organe juice and Tropicana loads their juice to the brim with pulp so it’s perfect for me!

I used to love Florida's Natural, but it's no longer the same product. It is now from concentrate and from Mexico. I literally make myself fresh squeezed oj now and it's delicious, I'll never go back to store bought.

After buying Orange Juice for more than 30 years ... for daily consumption, and having gone through many brands ... "Florida's Natural" with labeled options for pulp content, is by far the most consistent flavor and textures, the best. Thanks guys ... whatever you're doing, .... please continue, don't mess with anything!! You can't improve on something that is already as good as it gets!!

I had to stop drinking fruit juice because of type II diabetes. (Too much sugar.) But I loved Simply Orange High Pulp before I quit it.

I got Florida's natural once because it was cheaper than simply orange, my go to, and I thought it was an off brand bunk orange juice, but I figured I'd give it a try. Ever since then, I always pick up a carton of Florida's cuz it's amazing lmao

I've been drinking tons of OJ lately and I have to agree, Florida's Natural and Simply Orange are the 2 best tasting. Florida's Natural is about 50¢ cheaper though.

I love the grove stand Tropicana! It tastes just like the fresh squeezed OJ of my childhood. I like the high pulp...but Simply Orange and Florida's Natural are delicious!

Sunny D, Tang, Tampico, and "orange drink" are not orange juice nore do they claim to be.

I drink Tropicana Grovestand BECAUSE of all the pulp-the very reason this video slams it. I guess it goes back to when I was a youngster (I’m almost 70 now) and my mother would buy a bag of oranges at the store, cut them in half, and squeeze them using a small glass juicer. Love that pulp!

I grew up drinking Tropicana, with pulp. To this day, that's all I buy.

I only buy Florida's Natural. I love the pulp but even the Most Pulp variety needs more pulp. I love it because of the taste and because it is only made with oranges grown in the USA.

Fun fact: Back in the day, if you leave Sunny D out on the counter for awhile, it actually separates; the orange color seeps down to the bottom and I believe the clear part (possibly vegetable oil & water floats to the top)

When I go on a cruise (ship) I always get the drink package that allows me to get the fresh squeezed orange juice. It's better than the alcoholic drinks.

Tropicana Orange Juice taste BETTER from a glass bottle. In the 70's it was sold in small glass bottles...GREAT !!

I really appreciate this video! I am an avid OJ lover and prefer fresh-squeezed Valencia orange juice but when I can't, I buy Simply Orange High Pulp. I wish the company had an organic option.

Truth be known, the whole "where juices come from" conversation is pretty funny. I worked for years in the trucking industry. More than one long haul trucker told me of hauling oranges from Florida to California, backing up to a loading dock, waiting while the oranges are unloaded, relabeled, loaded back onto the same truck and hauling the same oranges back to Florida, having been relabeled "California oranges". In Georgia, a major peanut growing state, a pretty big successful candy company, specializing in peanut brittle, buys and imports peanuts from Brazil.

The fact that as kids we were advertised sugary, watery, fake OJ as a SPORTS DRINK is insane! 😅

I love Simply Orange Juice as well as their Apple Juice. The lemonade is good stuff too !

Tampico juice is a great mixer for alcohol beverages. My favorite oranges is simply orange or Tropicana orange. If not make my own.

I used to be a Tropicana juice vender. It is owned by PepsiCo. They were unable to deliver it themselves because it must be kept cold at all times & they had to outsource delivery to distributors who had cold storage. I think it is a consistently decent brand of juice. The first 5 mentioned are not really orange juice but rather orange drinks.

Great review! you dont buy blended olive oil from all over the world, you buy geographically unblended from a specific region or even solely from the State of California(if your smart and pro USA ... Our OJ choice for #1 is Costco's. It's just like freshly squeezed and we live in FL where we can get freshly picked oranges.

Oranges just aren't as good as they were in the 60's and 70's. They used to be alot juicier and sweeter.

I agree about Simply Orange, since I tried it 5 years ago I haven't change. It is a great orange juice brand.

It's fairly new but it's hands down the best and the only place I have found it is Publix. It's called "Coral Reef" Small batch Orange Juice and it's exactly the same taste I got the many times I traveled through Florida, stopped at a grove where they would squeeze fresh orange juice from the oranges for me. The only problem is its soo good that Publix hardly can enough in stock and I usually have to make several trips to get my fix. I whole heartedly pick it above Natalies, Tropicana, Simply Orange, and Florida's Natural. Don't try it unless you want to be spoiled and hooked. Would love to know if you agree.

I once drank orange juice in Honolulu (early 70s) and I've never tasted any juice like it after that (I'm still looking ). Wished I checked/remembered the brand.

Support the growers. Florida Natural all day long. The best orange juice hands down.

Loved the video, but for me, Tropicana Grovestand is my Tropicana variety of choice. For me, the pulp doesn't "get in the way".

I remember when I moved from Ohio to Queens back in 92. My aunt bought a few cartons of Bright and Early from Associated. I thought I could stand sugar but that stuff was like the Super Squishy Bart & Millhouse had! I was 20 and aged five years with every sip! 🤪😜

I have always liked minute maid orange juice. I am type two diabetic, but I need high potassium level and was told that the juice with pulp in it is better than unpulp juice Do you recommend this or should I stay with Florida Choice? I got to bring up the potassium level but control the glucose levels. I am mixed up.

Florida's Natural is pretty good. I typically buy Dole's Orange-Peach-Mango, though. It's been my favorite for quite some time now.

I just finished drinking Floridas Natural 89 FL OZ or 2.63L in one day. I love it and it makes me happy!

I know about Uncle Matt's, Minute Maid, Natalie's, Simply Orange and Tropicana. All taste good. . But the hatchet job you did on Trader Joe's made me want to comment. I think all their OJ's are terrific and the ORGANIC over a quart size you showed tastes terrific. Maybe that it's pasteurized will turn off some, but believe me, it taste's real good.. And the price is another big plus.

As far as mass market juice, I'm 100% about Indian River Orange juice. Their grapefruit juice is pretty good too.

You can get Bright and early at Save-a lot and Price Rite stores!! I remember when Sealtest used to sell Orange Juice!!

I have been a Costco member for 10 or 15 years and I have to say that Costco has delicious wonderful flavorful orange juice that is organic and you can buy them in a two pack for about eight dollars and I swear that is the most delicious orange juice

Tang would be good in instances where added weight or refrigeration is a problem like for backpackers or possibly camping.

I've purchased and had Great Value Orange Juice. It's just as good as any other store brand Orange Juice. So if you are looking to save money and enjoy OJ, you get my seal of approval. While it might not be Tropicana or Minute Maid, Great Value brand still tastes just fine and will save you money in the long run. That is if you are looking to buy Orange Juice on a budget. If you have no budget or are just plain stinking rich, then by all means go for the name brand OJ.

I'm from Polk County Fl. and lived in Lk. Wales, the home of Florida's Natural. It is the best and I know some of the growers. It's a Co-Op.

I've had them all and nothing imo beats Tropicana. Always the same and always the best.

The best OJ I ever tried was the fresh squeezed juice Wegman’s sells. It is expensive b it it is also very worth it.

I would like to add that there is nothing more fragrant, and appealing than the scent of Orange blossom flowers wafting through the air as you drive by an orange grove.
