Walk into any grocery store, and you'll find plenty of yogurt on display. The question is, which kind should you choose? Anyone who enjoys yogurt knows that not every cup is created equal, and some brands are more satisfying than others.
We took a selection of non-dairy yogurts like Silk and Nancy's, Greek yogurts like Fage and Chobani, (and also the Icelandic Siggi's and the Australian Wallaby Organic), and pit them against a variety of traditional yogurts from the store-brand Trader Joe's, Kirkland Signature, and Member's Mark options, to the classics like Dannon and Yoplait.
Our mission? To uncover the best yogurt out there. After our personal taste-testing, we pared things down to these 14 popular yogurt brands ranked from worst to best.

I think Noosa yogurts are among the best. They manufacture them close to where I live and they are outstanding! Their strawberry rhubarb, tart cherry, and key lime flavors are amazing! These mashed people are obviously deluded.

I agree. I find Noosa to be among the best as well. And as for Chobani, I find it to be among the worst. Too sour for my taste.

When you trashed Noosa, you lost me. The only down side it that it's a tad over sweet tasting, but otherwise it bats 1000.

My favorite is the plain Fage 5% yogurt with honey and fresh peaches. Yum 😋

Noosa yogurt is outstanding! absolutely delicious. ;creamy flavorful yummy I’m almost sorry that I tried it because now I want it all the time and it’s not real healthy compared to the others but it’s tasty

I was raised on Dannon, fruit on the bottom, 8oz cops.. Dannon still tastes like real yogurt to me, yet smaller.. I also like Fage too, plain with honey on it. Good greek yogurt taste. I really like Noosa alot, but its loaded with sugar. The flavors are really good.. Yougurt must have probiotics included to be healthy...

Siggi's vanilla is delicicious! I absolutely love the tart flavor of it but be warned do not try the plain flavor if you do not like intense tartness.

Siggi’s is the best. Other skyr brands have appeared, but I stick with Siggi’s.

I buy the organic yogurt from Aldi. Both the plain original and plain Greek. Both taste great and are a good value.

Noosa is the best . The lemon, key lime and blueberry are just so amazing. I am really shocked about their place on this list. But hey , to each their own.

There’s a hispanic brand named El Mexicano that makes really great tasting yogurt, with no gelatin no less, it deserves a shout out I feel!

I tasted Chobani's natural greek yogurt, and taste very sour, also I tasted their version with blueberries, and after mixing, it was a heaven of flavor, that has been the most delicious clueberry greek yogurt I have ever tasted.

They are spot on about Trader Joe’s! I returned their plain Greek yogurt twice because I thought it was rancid, but that’s how it really is…clumpy and sour! I don’t like Stoneyfield Greek at all. Way too watery, and an off taste. My fave is Fage Greek plain. I drizzle my own raw organic honey over it. Gonna have to try Siggi’s.

My daughter lived in France for two years. The stores have at least two aisles of nothing but yogurt, they take it seriously there. Very good too.

I'm a Yoplait girl but I've never forgiven them for discontinuing the thick, custard like variety they made years ago. That was the best. So now I stick to the Yoplait original flavors, and occasionally, I'll pick up a few Noosa flavors as well. I really like the honey flavor, and I reuse those perfect containers as well.

I love the orange and cream. I used to mix it in with a less than great protein powder mix, plop that sucker in the freezer for 30-45 mins and it became heaven on earth

Currently I buy greek yogurt, my go to 3 are: Zoi strawberry, Ellenos lemon and Fage plain. All are whole milk. I like to pick an interesting jam to add to the Fage to make it more interesting.

There are lots of yogurts you didn't mention, though they might be only West Coast. Continal, Greek Gods, Brown Cow ( made of whole milk, it has a thick layer of yogurt Cream on top). Pavel's. I thought Chobani was gritty.

Chobani sucks. It's way too sour. Where's Greek Gods? Brown Cow? Those are the best, in my opinion. Even Noosa, which was placed near the bottom of this list, is absolutely divine. None of these are too sour or too sweet. They're flavors are perfectly balanced. These videos really tick me off sometimes. They just have no clue on what's good or bad. I know everyone has a different opinion, but these videos are actually turning people away from some very good products. Sad.

I don’t think I ever had Dannon except for time I had fruit on the bottom as a kid and it was disgusting. I had Yoplait Yogurt and Trix Yogurt (RIP) as a kid

Cash your check from Yoplait. What a farce. Had not had Yoplait in a while, usually get Noosa. So, I tried, based on your assessment I tried it again. It was Vanilla and it was Vanilla soup. Horrible. I don't know if Noosa is the best but I do know that Yoplait is not.

Make your own regular yogurt or greek yogurt. It is a fraction of the price and is better in quality than any of these. Also you can easily make cream cheese from greek yogurt.

Siggis Triple Cream Vanilla or Lemon WAS my favorite yoguart for a long time. Key word here is WAS! Then, like most great things, it is now discontinued! Replaced by Siggi Rich & Creamy, which is terrible! YUCK! 😝

Yoplait has slowly taken the fruit pieces out and product thinner. It now appears to be the skin only, and that has all but disappeared. Not worth buying any longer. I buy a quart of plain and add my own frozen fruit. Delicious and so much more for less money.

I think Fage Greek plain 5% Milkfat is by far the best yogurt and tastes way better than Chobani. It’s smooth, creamy, filling and tastes so good.Once you get accustomed to Fage plain yogurt you won’t ever go back to sweet or fruit yogurts. Plus it’s lower in sugar and has no added sugar.

I Googled yoplait. These are the ingredients of Yoplait low fat original strawberry: Ingredients Cultured Grade A , Contains 1% or Less of: Corn Starch, Tricalcium Phosphate, Pectin, Carmine (for Color), Natural Flavor, Vitamin A Acetate, Vitamin D3.

shobani is not a greek yogurt ,they take the name,of shobani,is a greek world (after farmer) turkeys, yogurt only not a greek they taking the name, because the greek one is the best.

I buy Liberte yogurt, which isn’t as widely available as others. The thick, creamy texture is amazing.

I don’t recommend ANY commercial yoghurt. I say go online and buy REAL FREEZE DRIED yoghurt starters and make yoghurt at home in an instant pot or crockpot. If you have neither follow directions below. Heat milk to 180F Cool milk to 110-116F Add yoghurt starter and stir well Sit on a heating pad to keep warm and cover with blanket to keep warm. Allow the bacteria to multiply 8-12 hours and intge morning put your yoghurt in the fridge

Ummm is this 'best for you' or' best tasting' .. if Healthiest then Good one's listed are: Stonyfield or Siggi's, If want ' Tasty' loaded with sugars/starches/gums (sugars which apparently kill the pro-biotics) then pick any of the rest...(wish woulda found this out before I bought the wrong thing )

It took a long time for me to realize that I don't like yogurt in this country. Greek yogurt's nasty as fuck. The other brand is too sweet. I love the yogurts in Japan. There's this one that has bits of aloe. That shit is the bomb. I like the bulgarian yogurt in japan.

Only eat the low sugar brands: Two Good, YQ (yoplait), etc. And only plain with my own additives.

You must read the labels. May yogurt are not really yogurt they are milk gelatine. If the brand you buy has gelatine in the ingredients they are NOT yogurt just milk gelatine.

So you are rating Yogurt on how it taste, not if it's REAL yogart, which has the health benefit for gut bacteria (immune system). I understand if it is made of food starch like Yoplait is, it is not real yogurt. !!!!!!!! Look at ingredients, if it has sugar or starch (modified food starch) leave it on the helf, uness you are just wanting a weight gaining dessert. They ALL CLAIM to be Greek yogurt. A Lie.
