It's basically impossible to mess up a frozen waffle, right? You just take it out of the box, pop it in the toaster, toss it on a plate and top with some butter and syrup, right? Well, yes. You could do that and it would be fine. That's kind of what they're made for. But if you have a little extra time on your hands, they could be a lot better.
A few small changes to how you prepare your frozen waffles could take them from a quick and pretty good breakfast to a restaurant quality experience at home. No kidding! So avoid these mistakes everyone makes with frozen waffles.

Eggos Thick and Fluffy baked in the oven is good. I follow the instructions buttering the cooked side when I flip them halfway through baking. Then warm maple syrup with a touch more of butter poured over them in the squares only seems to be just right.

Double toast your waffles for a crunchy, crisp waffle! Phenomenal. My roomie served me waffles and after the first bite I had to ask her how she got them to crunchy--- double toasted. Enjoy.

The past couple of times, I have put them in the toaster, then butter the, then zap in the microwave or 10-15 sec to melt the butter better.

1. Using the microwave 2. Cutting it into strips 3. Thawing before cooking 4. Cooking in toaster 5. Not trying in air fryer 6. Forget to pre butter 7. Not making a waffle sandwich 8. I just put frozen waffles in the microwave for a few seconds to get the frost off. Then I toast them for the crispness. It works fine.

Learned some good stuff and cant wait to try it. Cant remember last time I had frozen or regular waffles for that matter. Got to have the butter and syrup and a bunch of both. Was informative and fun to watch. Great video

Crispy, toasty waffles with load of butter are the only way to eat them. No syrup. You may apply cream cheese.

No need to over complicate it. 30 seconds in the Microwave to thaw, then in the Toaster at the Setting you Prefer. Mine is set to my normal toast setting.

I put a perfectly round Eggo waffle in my toaster but when its done, one side is always deformed and squished up instead of completely round the way I put them in...🤔

I ALWAYS PUT MY FROZEN WAFFLE IN THE TOASTER, I DON'T LIKE TO PUT THEM IN MICROWAVE ,THEY DON'T TASTE GOOD WHEN YOU COOK WAFFLE IN THE MICROWAVE, TASTE BETTER COOK IN THE TOASTER ANY OLD DAY.

I prefer slathering mine with butter and pan browning them on the stovetop...but if i really want the best waffle I add a lot of melted butter to waffle batter and fire up the waffle iron, then serve with cheese & egg, and thick cut ck tenders, and more butter, along with premium maple syrup...ummm, ummm good!

When I make egg and olive I prefer to eat it on toasted frozen waffles more flavor than just plain bread.

I make waffle batter ahead of time, takes about 5 minutes, then in the morning take it out and pour it into my simple, small, waffle iron. It's really not that big a deal. Wake up on time.
