Beautiful, fantastic.. গান টা প্রথম শুনেছিলাম রঞ্জন বাবুর কন্ঠেই রাজাবাজার সায়েন্স কলেজে । তারপর আজ হঠাৎ করেই আপনাদের পেলাম।

Both have sung it brilliantly, but I loved the Bengali voice. I felt it was too good. Composition is just awesome. Infact the last touch of mouth organ reminded me of Suman Chattopadhyay. Sitting 2000 miles away, I felt the heartbeat of my city within myself. Thank you for such an amazing treat.

This rendition has been my go to one whenever Iam feeling low.

আমি ক্লাস ১২ এর ছাত্র, এই গানগুলো মূলত বিভিন্ন কলেজ বা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ছাত্র ছাত্রীদের মধ্যে বিশেষ প্রচলিত, বলা ভালো আগেকার সময়ের ছাত্রছাত্রীদের কাছে। এই সময়ে দাঁড়িয়েও যে এইরকম গান শুনছি তা বড় ভাগ্যের ব্যাপার। ভালো থাকবেন। এইরকম আরো উপহারের অপেক্ষায় রইলাম।

সময়টা ২০০৫। নববর্ষের উষ্ণ আবহে রবীন্দ্র সদনে এক সন্ধ্যায়, বছর ১৫ র এই কিশোর আমি, রন্জন প্রসাদ নামে এক প্রবাসী ভিন্ন ধর্মী সঙ্গীত পরিবেশক এর কন্ঠে এই গানটি শুনে উদ্বেল হয়ে গেছিলাম। তখন আমাদের কাছে বেতার ছাড়া আর কোনো মাধ্যম ছিল না যার মাধ্যমে আমার পছন্দের গান বারবার শুনতে পারি। এর বেশ কিছু পরে আকাশবাণী র এক ইংরেজি গানের অনুষ্ঠান এ হেরি র কন্ঠে এই অনবদ্য সৃষ্টি শ্রবণ করে আমি পাগল হয়ে গেছিলাম। এই সুর এই অনুভূতি, সেই আবিষ্টতা চিরন্তন। আজ ইউটিউব এর দৌলতে আপনাদের সুকন্ঠে এই অসাধারণ সৃষ্টি গুলো কে নতুন করে পরিবেশন আমাদের অনুভূতি গুলো কে আরো সচেতন করছে। আপনাদের ধন্যবাদ।
