Hello people,
We continued our journey from Ooty and headed to Masinagudi. Masinagudi is a part of the Mudumalai National Park in Tamil Nadu. The Mudumalai National Park is a large wildlife sanctuary that has been declared as Tiger Reserve and extends into the states of Karnataka and Kerala. Masinagudi is noted for its rich forests and abundant flora and fauna. Today, we are going to explore the Secret Ivory Resort's Treehouse and other rooms and services they offer. They provide, standard, suite, deluxe, dorm type of rooms along with the treehouse. They also offer bird siting and other fun activities which you can check on their website(link below). After that, we took a private trekking jeep safari, which cost us Rs. 1000/- (may differ with seasons). We had a small off-road ride that led to a windy hill, where we spent some time enjoying the beautiful view of mountains and also worshipped the god in the temple on top of the hill. Next, we went to the Moyar check dam, the road we traveled to reach the place is called Moyar road drive, which is loved by motorbike riders. The perfect season to visit Masinagudi is after summer, which is May.
