Masking is a very powerful feature used in Photoshop on PC. Similarly Snapseed has similar one called Stacks brush. It can be used to create stunning pictures limited only by your imagination. This video gives you all the necessary information needed to get familiar with this feature. Video is all about Masking on mobile with Snapseed.
Also there is a need trick to get dual color tones in text.

I was Zero in pic editing but u taught me alot. You could try brush tool using Dodge & Burn, although it could be hit and miss. But may very well work.

Do you still recommend people learning Snapseed now that it seems to be a discontinued product? What else do you recommend instead? Also, thanks for a creative tutorial.

There may be no feature update but Snapseed is not completely abandoned as Google pushed an update few weeks back targeting new SDK versions so that it works well with the new Android versions. As it is a quite user friendly free app, I think it will stay relevant for the time being at least though as AI is taking over with only command lines needed to get the desired results like in the new Photoshop beta version, most of the apps might become irrelevant. Lightroom is an all-round app if you want to get into advanced editing, lot of features getting added there in every update, probably command line AI too coming as well.

Snapseed has been a bit of a mystery to me plus not spending much time trying to learn it. Masking has been a bit of an effort because I learned to do it using layers originally.
