I just wanted to say that your MoN videos are one of the best resources for a campaign I've ever come across in my 10 years of keeping CoC The Betrayal idea for the party is great, and I'll most certainly use this as Erica's mansion seems like such a cool location. Regarding the handouts for the America chapter, it seems like a huge info dump at the start of the chapter when Jackson dies for the investigators to find. How did you handle this? Did they find most of these handouts at once and determine their own route through New York, or did you intersperse the handouts throughout the chapter? Thanks, keep up the good work! Jak

Using Betrayal at House on the Hill was really clever! Great walkthrough series and hope to see the rest of the chapters.

Thank you so much for this video! I started playing America with my player and then we had a 6 month break because of scheduling issues and this was perfect to remember the key points in short time! Thanks ❤

Good summary and advice. I'm surprised that anyone would skip the America chapter: and it the UK chapter seem essential to me. After that, Masks becomes "global sandbox."

I think those that would skip are groups that can't commit to a long-form campaign but reeeeaaaalllllyy want to know what masks is all about. I agree England is essential!

Dear JstheWolf, You are correct, it has been an eternity. The month of October month plagued me with the busyness of adulting, but I am doing well. Thank you for your kind words and for watching! -XPLovecat

Long time RPG gamer (since 1977) from New Zealand. First time Keeper. Looking forward to running this campaign and we will be starting in our own small provincial town with some local connections to the story. I appreciate your videos,

So great to see a new of your walkthroughs for Masks! Thank you so much for sharing your experience and tips. 🙂There are so many good maps - either coming with Masks or found online. I'm wondering if you use them as overview for your players' general orientation or if you'd even use them for "dungeon crawling". Thanks 🙂

Hi Christian, in game I used the maps to help players orient and make sure I was describing the layout correctly. The only map I really would consider using more as a dungeon crawler would be in Egypt for "The Tunnels Below" - this one works well with this style. Thanks for watching!

OMG, loving this! This is helpful at a high level. My players are in Peru and that's going well. This campaign is a monster! Thank you for these!

thank you so much for these videos. I hope the others will be coming soon too? I just started DM'ing the Peru Chapter, two Sessions in now. It was kinda a last minute decision, so I did not manage to read all of the campagin already (I was going to DM some one shots in Cthulhu and found this gem one month before our already scheduled first session ... so this is really helpful! Thank you!

Nice! Out of curiosity did you play Peru or dive straight into America?
@giulioallari3269
@giulioallari3269 Жыл бұрын
@@XPLovecat Yes, we played Peru first and the plan is to go through everything, my group is quite slow and our sessions are only about 3 hours long, but we play every week, so I hope we'll manage to complete the whole campaign in about 1 and a half to 2 years. I have a question, did you keep track of the time or did your players do it? If you did, what format of calendar did you use?

This is really useful information, thank you for sharing - I'm about to start this chapter with my group. We actually stretched out the prologue because we really enjoyed Peru and in the end my players got to like Jackson Elias so I'm hoping that they will be highly motivated to figure out what happened to him. Will you make follow up videos about the other chapters as well?

@@XPLovecat running it via Play by Post, so it’s a lot longer and more drawn out than over the table but my players are loving it!
