This model is right when they switched to this whole-circumference plate design. This is a real wood action. These double b's are crazy powerful! This piano has a player-system on it and it has a silent system.

I have a BB and a B. And 2 old upright Mason & Hamlins. I used to have a CC1 from 1911 remanufactured. Double crowned soundboard

The M&H BB is spectacular, one of the best designs ever in my opinion. Also, when do we get a special episode for Nicole? Would be interesting to hear her story. Must've been a child prodigy!

That is a very beautiful piano. I’ve always heard the composite action is supposed to last longer yada yada yada but have always thought to myself there has to be a catch and there has to be a reason all other pianos (that I know of) just use wood. Do you know what the drawbacks are to the composite action compared to the regular wood action?
