I think last seasons performance, results, and this seasons injury problem gives his credit in the bank to get another season. It's been pretty dire tactics and performance wise up to now to be fair, so if the same repeats in the 24/25 I would understand if he doesn't last come January.

I think we should change the team up a bit especially before Liverpool. Drop Bruno alongside Mainoo, as Casemiro is a walking red card. Put Garnacho on the left, then Marcus on the bench. Mount in the middle and Amad on the right Hojlund as the striker, at least for the first hour against Chelsea and see how much sarper we look🎉i🎉😊!! Maybe even give Garnacho a rest for the first half, and play Antony. The players are getting injured because they are not rotating, imo. Also once they are being rushed back from injury, trainers fault? or medical teams? I know one thing,surely it can’t be any worse than against Brentford UTR

I’ll be very honest. If I didn’t know any better, I would’ve been Ten Hag out agesssss ago. The things he says are shocking at times. My worry is, every time we sacked a manager, the things they say in interviews 2 years down the line (after the NDA expires) always comes back to bite us. They always end up being 100% spot on and explain a lot of the behind the scenes issues we didn’t consider at the time. Usually the conclusion is: its a bigger mess than we can even imagine. I can’t help but feel Ten Hag is trying to keep as much as possible behind the scenes stuff quiet, while being totally pissed off by the situation he’s in. I know for a fact he’s not deluded, because I followed him for years and even last year it wasn’t like this.

I know things are not great behind the scenes although much better now than it has been for 10 years. However, we just watched Brighton go to Brentford and keep them quiet, dominating throughput the game and seeing out a 0-0 draw. We should've been 3 goals down atleast but for poor finishing by Brentford. This is one example of many of teams absolutely bossing Man Utd. Everyone has injuries, in fact Liverpool have as many injuries as us and they play exhilarating football regardless of personnel. Even with our strongest line up, we concede too many chances. Our football is dire most of the time. ETH is not showing why he should be at the club under Ineos. His comments do seem delusional at times aswell which doesn't fill me with confidence. The buck stops at the managers door regardless, this is the brutality of elite football.

Some straightforward questions would be appreciated... Your team have been playing poorly this whole season. While it's true you've had players going in and out if the team for much of the season due to injuries, the problems in the playing style have been consistent irrespective of whoever lines up. If the problems are consistent, why can't the positive points of your style also be consistent? Why do you insist on maintaining whatever this unclear style is despite the obvious flaws that constantly repeat? How do you address the fact that all your midfielders, apart from Kobbie Mainoo, don't seem to have any idea what keeping the ball means or what an accurate pass looks like. Are injuries to blame for that too, because Bruno and McTominay in particular have barely been out this season. Why hasn't it been addressed properly in training or is it a deliberate tactic to always play the ball blindly into the attack with no regard for tempo or timing?

There is something wrong with this team or teams. They have not played consistently no matter how good the manager is. So it has to be something else or a combination of things. They do seem to a consistent fight within them. Either they are paid to much or the right conditions are not fixed to their conditions. They appear to have the ability but not the get up and go, is it a good kick up the arse or sold off and start again with people that want to win. I don't blame the managers because it has happened to them all and surely one of them would have clicked. ETH is well organised and is asking the questions and not getting the answers. I would have them all and the youths teams together and ask them why and if it was a negative answer he is getting then lay into them verbally.

It's almost as if he wasn't brought in for a rebuild, thats the process eth keeps talking about. he's the one with coaching experience and before he came he was being tipped for every job in the football world but you'd lose that for one bad injury hit season because there's been no excuses at Manchester United for the last decade cos all I've seen in that period is excuses and bad decisions at all levels even the fans unfortunately fans can't get the sack because that would be what this club needs at this point. Few ways you can fix the fixture congestion, first thing I would do would be to take the top 4 clubs out of the carabao cup, only teams outside the top 4 compete it in, considering the top 4 are in Europe with higher demands they should have less fixtures than smaller teams. Would also allow more smaller clubs to make some money getting further in the tournament.

Let me answer the question about Manchester United’ inconsistency. Ten hag cannot answer truthfully because he will be in trouble. We are inconsistent because the whole club accepts mediocrity. It dates back to Morinhno era. It’s not ten hag’s fault. The fault is with the club, from top to bottom. There is no accountability for the players when they play bad so they choose to play well or bad depending on them. And for everyone saying drop certain players like Rashford, it’s not as easy as it seems. If it was a different club, Rashford would have been dropped long time and every manager would have dropped him. But at Manchester United, the culture has given players more authority than the manager so if you drop him, you will eventually be in trouble. If things to change from top to bottom, no manager will change things around. Sack Ten hag and keep the same players and culture, we will be back here in 18 months wanting to sack another manager. Give ten hag time with the new ownership and stop pretending as if you haven’t been here in the past 10 years. The manager is the least of the problems with our beloved club!

Just reasons !! Look at city, arsenal, LIVERPOOL, for example. They play in CL , FA cup, and europa League, then they come to PL and beat the teams on weekends. Man utd have ample amount of time between games but still no consistency. The way they play is rubbish. They don't pass to Højlund. They give away the ball and position easily. The defense is poor. No improvement past 2 years. When was the last time we saw United score in a free kick or corner kick last time ? There is absolutely no progress. Teams are not close in PL. The difference between Arsenal and Sheffield United is 53 points. At the end of the day - either you are good enough or you are not. Last year, the press were all over Liverpool, making excuses for their poor season and blaming it on playing so many games the season before. (Maybe it was just refreshing for them to hear excuses from Klopp that didn't involve the weather, the grass, or the fact that the opposition didn't let them score goals?) Last year, United played every competitive domestic game it is possible to play apart from the charity shield, with a long run in Europe and a world cup in the middle of the season. If you look at the players Ten Hag has signed it’s obvious he can’t identify a class player and that’s the main reason why United are as bad as they are

Last year the team scored 58 goals with not a natural striker. This year, 40 goals so far but they have made a lot of changes to the squad. They have included more young players and they need time to develop. Injuries haven't helped his team and the depth isn't there. He cannot get rid of players not up to his standards as they are on big wages. He tried to sell Maguire and Mctominay but couldn't. He hasnt got the players to play his style. In a recent interview, he states he's clear on how he wants to play which is football from the back, dictating the game and playing in a high block. He has players that can press in a high block like holjund, mount and bruno. He wants kobbie to dictate but he's only 18 and needs time. Lizandro, shaw and casimero have been injured all year. These boys bring composure. He's had to adjust his style because Maguire, victor and varane cannot play his style. He has only brought in two defenders in during his time. The backline needs refreshing as certain players haven't performed well enough over the last 3+ years. He isnt dumb and knows the problems at the club. Things take time. Rome wasn't built overnight. To say he's a horrendous manager is a bit of a stretch considering he won a trophy in his first season, numerous trophies for Ajax and a game away from reaching the champions league final. I think the owners will give him one more year on the job and he'll not only have to get results but rise performances. This summer transfer will be huge for him. To put things into perspective, in Arteta's first three seasons, he finsined 8th twice and 5th. Now he is challenging for league title in his 5th year. Ten hag's first year he finished 3rd and now is currently 6th. The man needs time and needs to be backed as replacing him will only put the club backwards.

Ange and Spurs turned it around immediately with lesser quality players and were in a worse position in all areas before he joined. Proof is in the pudding. @teaspoons5942 Gabriel Jesus isn't a number 9?? He is a striker isn't he? They won with him in the team. Ange has had a great start but Tottenham's levels are starting to drop recently. This can happen. He's done a good job and the structure at Tottenham is probably better than what is at Man Utd. You can't say Tottenham have lesser quality players because they don't. Madison, Son & the keeper (to name a few) are top quality players that can get in the top clubs around the world. I agree Ten Hag's press conferences are becoming a little bit concerning as he doesn't really make a lot of sense but I think he isn't sharing a lot to the press, which he shouldn't anyways. I'd just like to see him manage the club for another year with a structure (behind the scenes) involved with Ineos.

Depth of squad at united is better. Spurs have some high quality players but they don't have any depth. They lost all momentum in the Chelsea game but they certainly look in a better a position and are easy to watch win or lose. Watching UNited is like watching my sister have s@x with my brother. Martinez too injury prone and you must mean best cb at utd, as certainly not in PL at the moment, Hojlund good signing but very young and still very unproven, Mount and Malacia average at best when they've not been injured. Noticed you didn't mention his other signings. Antony or Amrabat m. Wake up!! Utd are 6th and nowhere near winning another PL title. His signings have been terrible. Stop making excuses and lead! Stop giving every player an excuse to fail. You have made no part of Man UTD better. The defence, midfield and attack are worse. Your team cannot play the ball out from the keeper. They cannot defend any transition-they are a mess. So poor, a League Two team would be better. The team has no legs in midfield and gets run over by any team with enthusiasm. The team cannot sit on a team in possession. The only time you win is when there is chaos and the individual players find a way to rescue you. A coach builds a platform for talent to perform. You have built nothing. You have been saved by the club's academy. I am surprised you have not replaced that with more mates from Ajax. Hannibal never complained about the mountains. Churchill roused us when buried. Leonides led 300 into 20,000. Clough managed rejects and won. Ranieri won the Prem with a Leicester team full of players nobody wanted. You complain about injuries. Unbelievable stuff, week in week out. A complete fraud.
